We took about two weeks going from Fairbanks to Homer and back, and this was probably the best property we stayed at. The house was beautiful and had everything and more that we could’ve needed, and the hosts were very responsive, and accommodating. They gave us as much fishing insight as possible! The only thing that surprised me a bit is that the photos made it look like a house in the middle of nowhere, but there were neighbors on both sides and somewhat close, but not TOO close and the house was right off of the close main road. She provided us with all the information about the home and amenities. The home was so clean and provide easy access to all the excitement the area had to offer. It’s a few minutes from Soldotna but not too close to be crowded by the traffic congestion. There are many fishing parks in the area. Her husband Alex operates Chasingtales guide service which we used on a sockeye fishing trip. The expert advice helped us know the river and fishing techniques which paid dividends for the rest of the week. We caught so many fish on our own in the various fish parks.
