We found the cabin to be as described. It was roomy and had a beautiful view of the Kenai River. It was nice having the extra freezer for fish. The house had every amenity we could possibly need.
Great place to watch the Kenai river from the house or go fishing
We enjoyed staying at this place. It was very clean! We could watch the Kenai river from the house or walk a few steps to the river bank and fish for salmon.
This property was perfect for us. First off it was very clean which I always appreciate! We were 3 adults and 2 children, the bedrooms were great and the view was beautiful! It’s a nice, short walk to the fishing spot, it’s at a very wide and deep part of the river so the salmon really need to be running to catch anything. We enjoyed it even without them running though. There’s a bench as well as a picnic table out there. The house has everything you need and quite a few extras! We enjoyed the nastalgia of watching a VHS 😂 but there is also cable as well as dvds. Great house! We will definitely be back!
cabin feel, with a few other cabins on the propery. The main cabin is the one you rent.
Very nice person who we rented from, lots of products/foods in the cabin. NOT Really river front, you can see the water a ways off. You can not access the a fishing area from the house property. There is community trail but during our stay it was heavily used. So, i thought i could have riverfront fishing, from the house, not true. (the is No Dock to fish off). And it was very pricey, not what i expected.
We spent two nights in the cabin. It was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. Great communal fishing spot within a 2 minute walk with enough space along the bank for 5 of us to fish.
