Tv remotes and tv didn’t work. Because they weren’t hooked up but otherwise had a fantastic time. Went to the water edge bar listened to the band great food! Suggest getting the fish dip and crackers a little spicy but delicious!! Tony Hall was really nice he manages the place. Definitely suggest going and staying at Good Time Marina. Regina was really great. We are running a few minutes late I gave her a call and she said she’d wait on us. Parking was excellent there was a sign our cabin was number to parking spot was number two. Stay here! There was plenty of room for two people. It was clean but the only one thing not a big issue but also needs attention. The ceiling fans need to dusted off I couldn’t have it on due to allergies and dust mites from the build up on them. Other than that it was very clean, the beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and everything you need for a short trip away from home. Everything was clean. Dishes and pots and pans, bed linens and towels, fridge, were all nice and fresh, beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was a little underwhelming. No extra blankets were available in the rooms, could be an issue on cold days in the winter. It took a few minutes to realize the mini-split ac/heaters were both operated by one remote, and how to work it, worked greated once we got that figured out. Strangely, the min-split remote also turned on the TV (?), probably not by design Parking is sketchy -- I can see that when the place is crowded that could be a problem. Food at the onsite restaurant was okay, but surprisingly a bit overpriced for what you got. The bar appeared well-stocked, but we did not take advantage of that. The on-site restaurant and bar is amazing as we visit this even without staying in the premises. (Portions were a bit small as in six shrimp and a side for $18.) We stayed in one of the modular cabins which was very clean and mostly comfortable. Bathroom very small. Downstairs beds were comfortable, but upstairs mattresses looked pretty thin (more for kids). Great AC and TV. Minor complaints: No resort info w/wifi password in the cabin, no cabin number on our cabin, walking from the cabin to the restaurant - no sign, coffee maker in cabin with coffee but no filter or cream or sugar. Great if you want to fish! They were very new tiny cabins. Ours was a 2 bed room. Privacy was perfect. They were stacked in there so our biggest complaint if you will is parking. There didn’t seem to be many people there when we were staying thankfully because if there was I see parking to be an issue. I could tell a recent storm/hurricane has caused some issues they are dealing with so that’s unfortunate. But our stay served its purpose. It was safe, quiet, comfortable. We enjoyed it and would do it again assuming we had a places to park. Oh one other thing we did notice was they did have some pieces of metal laying about we had to be mindful about and we had to tell the 5 year old with us to watch for so he didn’t trip over them and injure himself. Idk if it was part of the tongue of the tiny home or what but they were laying in the walkways. So some safety issues there that could be addressed. Nice place. A little room for improvement. I felt like they had too many tiny cabins crammed into a small lot causing limiting parking and some safety hazards. Other than that we enjoyed fishing and our stay was VERY pleasant. I wouldn't be opposed to staying again. For the price it wasn’t bad at all. Who can turn down a brand new tiny home for a night for that kind of price? I hate leaving bad reviews and please don’t take it as bad…more constructive.
