We especially liked the lower level room for gathering. The supplies were adequate and generous. We stayed in late July and the place was hot. It would have helped to have fans. The showers were funky and flooded easily. One frustration was lack of access to a pool. I called the office to find out where the pool was and was told La Casa had no access to a pool. However, posted on the refrigerator was an info sheet that said we had access to the Lodge pool. I had some disappointed grandkids. ##### David B. Pros: The unit was clean and bright with a well-equipped kitchen, many games, and space to spread out. The hot tub is across a small street, bus stop right out front of the door, and ski slope is across the street and through one group of condo buildings - an easy walk. The beds were comfortable; the two smaller rooms are quite small, but adequate and comfortable for my young-adult children. The rental office was easy to reach and responded quickly. Cons: The temperature was hard to regulate with what appears to be floor heating and gas fireplaces in the two master bedrooms and the family room. As the renters after us posted, the satellite dish for the TV in the family room did not work, which was a disappointment since gathering together for a big football weekend was part of our vacation plan. The rental office did send a repairman out to the unit, but he was unable to fix it. I would recommend this unit as long as TV is not important to you. ##### Alexis T. Kitchen well stocked with up-to-date appliances. Downstairs great room was awesome as well. Only compliant would be the light from the street. Kept both couples awake. The blinds are very thin and do very little. Would recommend thicker blinds or blackout. ##### William C. The place provided a great layout and space for us to cook and hang out. The proximity of skiing was great along with nice hot tub and easy parking. ##### Jack H. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked multiple meals and used the gas grill just across the street twice. Location was very good, just a short walk to and from the slopes. Convenient enough that we went home for lunch several times. We had the early teens and 5 adults and fit well in the property. We had a great timr ##### james g. We went up for a bachelorette party. Not only was the property beautiful and met all of our standards, but it was such a fun small mountain town that has great food and entertainment options. We went to the hot springs, went to a cute bar with a live band, and ate at two great restaurants--8th Street Steakhouse (you cook your own steak) and Mazzola's.
