This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom condo is situated only three blocks from the gondola/base area. You can walk to skiing, restaurants, pubs and shopping but also have the convenience of free shuttle service to the mountain. Timber Run #221 has been beautifully updated in a mountain modern Steamboat style. This warm, cozy unit feels brand new and features fabulous flooring, spectacular stone countertops as well as beautiful furniture and superb decorating touches. The living area features a comfy sofa and love seat. You’ll love watching a game, movie or show on the flat screen TV or just relax and warm up by the gas fireplace. The open living area also includes a dining table with 6 chairs. Access the patio from the living area and enjoy some the fresh mountain air and some open green space as you are situated on an isolated side of the building. Off the living area is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to stay in and make a meal. There are 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter. The master suite offers a comfy king bed and a private full bathroom with a tub shower combo. Bedroom 2 has a comfy queen bed. There is another full bathroom in the hallway with a tub shower combo. The sofa in the living area pulls out to a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress. Timber Run has all the property amenities you would want on site including an outdoor heated pool, three outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, a BBQ area with picnic tables, community laundry rooms, tennis courts (summer only) and free shuttle services (winter only) to take guests to the ski area. You have a locked ski locker next to the front door. A convenient parking lot is outside of the unit. Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort. This property is not available to sports teams. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all. Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known. Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. The owners take good care of their condo. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our adult son since there are two nice sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were in town for my niece's wedding, so plenty of room for us all to get ready. Fans in living area and bedrooms were a welcome addition since we kept the AC low. The only negative has nothing to do with the condo itself. The instructions we received before arrival stated we would find pool keys in a "plastic sleeve on the counter". There were none so I called the customer service number of property management and also texted. I never got any response the entire time we were there (5 days). I found out from my sister-in-law that a code is used (they were staying at Timber Run as well). We did not get the code either (pool gate used a different code than our unit). How easy would have that been to text? The pool is lovely and very clean. Glad we got to use it! ##### Judy T. (Make dinner reservations at least two weeks in advance if you want to eat at the nicer restaurants.) We drove ourselves and had no trouble finding parking during our Monday-Thursday stay. The unit was very quiet and had nice daylight even though it was on the bottom floor. It is an older building, but the decor was cute and the beds were comfortable with nice bedding and lots of pillows. Three outdoor hot tubs were great for apres ski. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was a nice size for four adults. I thought this unit was a great value for our four night stay with our adult son. ##### Liz F. My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property for our little trip to Steamboat. It is in a great location, was nice and clean, and had great access to amenities (pool, community grills, tennis courts, etc.). The unit is very spacious and modern, and had everything in it that we needed. They were even nice enough to provide a pack-n-play for our 6 month old daughter so we didn't have to pack ours.
