We used the free Steamboats Springs Transit all week. There is a bus stop right by the condo. A 5 minute ride will take you to the ski area and a 10 minute ride will take you downtown. It was quiet and we felt at peace. The bed was pretty firm for me but I know some people like a firmer mattress. The sofa bed was pretty typical as well. The kitchen had everything you would need. The unit was in a quiet complex with easy parking and only a few minutes drive into town. Everything we needed was provided by the owners and the furnishings were comfortable. Except the bed! The location made access to area attractions and the downtown shopping district very easy. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable.
