Rooftop Retreat, a MULTI-LEVEL, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom oasis is located in the highly sought-after Urban Street at the Mountain in Steamboat Springs! There are so many features to highlight in this newly constructed property including a private rooftop hot tub, air conditioning throughout, and a 2 car heated garage and ski locker for 5 located at base of the ski resort. Walk into the front door of this sanctuary and to your right off the hall you will find a bedroom with a queen bed along with an ensuite bathroom. Straight ahead takes you to the garage where you can store not only your vehicles, but your gear as well. Walk up the full flight of stairs to the main indoor living space flooding you with light from expansive windows. The modern, clean, open kitchen, dining room and living room allow enough space for cozy conversations yet keep everyone in your group together when it is time for dinner. Whether cooking or gathering with friends, you won't want to leave the designer kitchen that flows into a living area and with deck access. A professional oven, walk-in pantry, a vast quartz center island with seating for 4, and the versatile free-standing gas fireplace complete this space. With sunlight shining in from all floors of the duplex, it stays cool with mini-split AC units on the main level and upper-level bedrooms. On the 3rd level of the property, three bedrooms capsulate views of Emerald Mountain and the ski area. A laundry closet, and an easy flight to the rooftop when you want to bathe in the sun, cookout with friends or soak in the hot tub are some of the many great features of Rooftop Retreat. The rooftop deck is heated and drained as well to ensure it is always clear in the winter months. Getting to the mountain or downtown is a breeze if you want to take advantage of the free city bus service. The closest stop is just a 1 minute walk away. TO GET TO THE SKI AREA: The Wildhorse Gondola is a one minute drive from the property, or you can walk to or from it in about 8 minutes. If you have anyone in your group who is not quite ready to hit the slopes, have them drop you off at the Gondola Transit Center. It was easy to hop on the public bus that dropped us off at the bottom of the ski resort. One of my personal favorite features was the availability of a ski locker. I truly hate walking in my ski boots. The locker was super convenient to the slopes. We locked our skis and boots after skiing and comfortably walked to the bus stop. Building is new and spacious but with a few things that we would have like to know: Construction zone: starting Monday-Friday: the workers start making noise at 8am so it would be hard to sleep in or enjoy a quiet day. The location is about a half a mile away from the base so plan on having a car or walking to the bus stop. Pet friendly place so also expect to have dog hairs in the sheets and furniture. The space is very well thought out and is utilized well. The house was super clean and was well stocked with everything that we needed. The location was perfect as a gondola is right down the road and we were close enough to walk to the grocery store. Additionally, our teenagers really loved the rooftop hot tub. Brand new build with extremely nice finishes. A cooks kitchen with all the equipment one would need to cook a full meal (we made Thanksgiving dinner!) Plenty of space to hangout and to relax. New gas grill with all the grilling supplies. Beds are very comfortable and my 3 kids loved the games and toys! We didn’t use the hot tub but definitely a plus to have after a long day of winter activities. Highly recommend if you are looking for a home close to the heart of Steamboat but with the space to relax! ##### Julie C.
