Werner, Sleeping Giant & Emerald Mountain which makes this a fantastic vacation rental. It's conveniently located between the mountain and downtown so it's only a few miles away from both. This Eaglepointe Town Home will comfortably sleep 10 adults. The top level features two suites. The king primary suite features a large closet, bathroom, jetted tub/shower combo and private balcony with amazing views. The queen suite offers a private bath with a walk in shower, large walk in closet and spectacular views. The living area, kitchen and 3rd bedroom are on the main level. Relax and lounge by the fireplace in the living area on the comfortable sofas. There is a balcony off the main level with fantastic mountain views. This level also has a full bathroom with a tub shower combo and a washer and dryer. The kitchen has everything and more you'll need to stay in and cook. The dining table seats 6 and there are 4 more seats at the kitchen counter. The 4th bedroom is on the bottom level and you can sleep 5 with bunk beds (3), a day bed and trundle bed. There is a full bathroom with a tub shower combo right outside the bedroom. There is a nice, open space right next to the property that includes a fire pit (spring, summer and fall only, requires a propane tank not provided). Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort. We enjoyed our ski trip at the lovely place. It’s only about 10 mins away from the nearest free parking lot of ski area. Kitchen has everything we need. Four bathrooms are very needed for a large group like us. The host would check you for any needs and respond very quickly! Didn’t know it would have discount sometime. We were a group of 10 on a ski vacation. Listing is inaccurate regarding bus transportation. Bus (actually a van) had limited hours and limited area of coverage. Dec 21, 2024 #### Steamboat Ski Vacation We enjoyed our stay in Steamboat. The home was close to everything. It had plenty of room, however, a bit deceiving. In the pictures, there was a 6 person table. Due to the small size on the family room/dining area, there was not enough room for a table unless you pushed the couch over to set up the table which was in pieces against the wall. We ended up just using the bar stools to eat at the kitchen counter. Also, the lock on the front door died, so had to use the garage to enter and leave the home. ##### Karen J. Jan 11, 2022 #### Snowmobiling trip We took a snowmobiling trip to steamboat springs, CO with 7 guys from different states. We usually got a hotel but not his year we decided to rent this townhouse. It was great. It had a kitchen with all appliances, utensils, cups and etc. the place was clean overall. Cons: The carpet was a little worn and dirty. We don’t wear shoes in our Homes. Wood flooring would be a good change. No parking for trailers. As we brought our snowmobiles And we had to leave our trailer unattended at a hotel near by. ##### Paul K. We had beds for 4 adults and 5 kids without issue. The property is a bit dated. Kitchen is on the older side, TVs are not "Smart" hard to get to Netflix and no option for and other streaming services or cable TV that we could get to work. Grill needs to be replaced. Having a bathroom on each floor was definitely a plus. Master bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. The room on the ground floor was great for three young boys. Kitchen was small but well equipped. There was a decent little sledding hill right next to the home which provided some solid entertainment for the kids. Only reccompndation I’d have to the owner it’s to put some floor mats in at the main entry. It’s gets a little sloppy from snow/ski boot traffic. It was a nice location being close but not too close to the main street. There were plenty of supplies like spices, cookware, towels, etc. It did get a little warm during the day but that's to be expected in July, it was nice that there were fans located in every room. There were dogs around the property so you could hear them barking but it never interrupted my sleep. It was clean (although the carpets are in rough shape and look like they could use a cleaning). The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, the beds comfortable. With 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms which meant each bedroom had their own bathroom, which is a plus. The living space is very small. There was a fold up dining table, which we couldn’t use, due to the cramped space, but since we ate out most nights, that wasn’t a big issue. If you wanted a table to sit around, to eat or play games, this probably wouldn’t work, otherwise, our party of 8 made it work. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming.
