The hallway smells like an old musty hotel. The room smelled like old cigarettes. There was no way to open a window to get some fresh air. The refrigerator was loud, so we had to turn it off. A fire alarm went off at 10:30PM. The paint was peeling in the bathroom.
The staff at check in and check out were very friendly and professional. The lobby and room very very clean. Lots of choices for breakfast. Nice comfortable room and no problems with the wifi.

We are an older property but maintain a fresh clean hotel per Brand, AAA and Health Department inspections. We have an update scheduled to refresh and provide a new look in the near future.
The property said it has a bar and lounge and it was to closed.

We do have a bar and lounge but have experienced high turnover rate with bar tenders, and the bar closes in between the hotel recruiting a bar tender to fill this position. We apologize for any inconvenience this might of caused as we continue to work through this situation post covid which has resulted in challenging job retentions.

I am sorry to say that I was disappointed in the room we had I can’t really say how clean it was since I didn’t take a shower there we streaks on the wall of the shower, there was rust at the bottom. The whole toilet paper holder came off the wall. There was a few other things but those were th worst. So I was not feeling I was in a clean room… I’m sad about it cause I always felt comfort was always my go to when I travel. Please keep you coffee, tea, hot water HOT for those leaving very early in the morning…

While this guest was concerned about cleanliness, we have received exceptional cleanliness scores from Brand, AAA and Health Departments. We are an older property and at the end of lifespan of last renovation and do have another renovation scheduled for the near future. We wish this guest engaged our staff and we could of resolved this by providing another room. Our staff is here to assist with any needs or concerns our guest might have.

We have stayed at this hotel for years while travelling to Florida. A noted decline in cleanliness and general upkeep was visible this time around. Taps leaked, sink was plugged. We had to move from our original room. New room was marginally better. Have new owners taken over?

Unfortunately, the bar is is the only area of hotel that we continue to experience a staffing issue with. The rest of the hotel has remained staff with many staff members being with hotel for an extended period of time. We are contently recruiting to fill the bar position. Thank you for your review.
The room was comfortable. The Shower had a problem, it didn't work properly. Otherwise, great place, will probably stay there again

Convenient stay right off the interstate. Staff was very friendly and kind! The bed we stayed in had a large stain on the cover, which was a turn off. Also, lots of women’s hair all over the room, in the bed, etc. bathroom was very clean. Room was dated but the price reflects that. Overall an average place to stay.

The bedroom black out curtains were dirty, stained and just... the bath tub was not the cleanest but was not going to use it...got there at 11 pm and my daughter was already asleep when i saw the curtains... so i didn't want to wake her up to move rooms after an 11 hr drive... i showed the 13 pictures to the front desk person who was willing to refund the price but the manager refused "since I stayed in the room"... my special needs daughter was asleep... the bed was clean... the carpet could use a good vacuum also i told her... have stayed before will never stay again and oh corporate could not care either... when i called them...

It's always disappointing to hear of a guest stay not meeting expectations. The hotel receives multiple unannounced inspections from Brand, Health Department and AAA. Those inspections have found us exceptional clean. We are an older property scheduled for an update and we take our guest feedback serious. We conduct regularly reviews and and with guest feedback to ensure no lapses are occurring and we continue to meet our guest expectations. Each guest issue is handled based on the circumstances of each situation and resolutions are offered to guest based on the conclusions of findings. Our staff is eager to assist and want to know about any issues as soon as possible.
It's never good to hear of a stay less than satisfactory. We will share this feedback with our pest provider to ensure they are providing the level of service our guest and us expect.
The property is very dated. Stains on the carpet. The couch was very old and dirty. The beds are very small! Breakfast could have been better. Maybe offer a healthy choice such as oatmeal, not from a packet. The drink and cereal dispensers did not work.

We are an older property scheduled for an update in the near future. Our hot breakfast provides sausage, scrambled eggs or omelets, grits, biscuits, gravy, pastries, muffins, bread, bagels, yogurts, oatmeal, cereals, waffles, oranges, apples, bananas coffees teas and juice with an assortment of condiments. Cereal is dispensed by pulling handle out to drop cereal into bowl. Our juice is served in pictures located on breakfast counter and not through a juice machine. Our host is happy to assist our guests in located items. Thank you for your 3 out of 5 review and we hope this addressed your concerns.
