Conveniently located near popular destinations, you'll be only a half-mile away from Stanley Lake Road, 0.5 miles from Valley Creek, 3 miles from Park Creek Overlook, 4 miles from Stanley Lake and Stanley Lake Trailhead, 5 miles from Iron Creek Trailhead, and 12 miles from Redfish Lake. In the winter months, the Valley Creek Cabin is the ideal basecamp for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Incredibly close to downtown Stanley (6 minute drive) and many trail heads for hiking. Cabin does back up to a road but we had no issues with noise (just something to consider if bringing young children or dogs). It's clean and more-stocked than we anticipated. They made the check-in process simple and were fantastic at communication before, during, and after our stay. No complaints. It's located about 6 minutes outside of Stanley; close enough if you need something, but far enough that it is perfectly quiet and relaxing.
