Hotel offered a beautifully done rustic looking space and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the onsite restaurant and the location offered many close options for other food choices. Would definitely recommend.

There was a closet that wouldn't open and another locked door. There was no ironing board in the room and the lightening wasn't that great. Otherwise clean and the staff/girl at the front desk was pleasant and helpful.

Staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. These are the important features for us when choosing a hotel therefore, this was a great stay! I just wish they had told us before we got there that they’re going through renovations and construction (but the place is starting to look very nice!) Also think the signage on the hotel should be lit to be more noticeable when people arrive at night.

The property was very clean and the staff was nice. The property is under renovations and construction began before 8am and was a little noisy. Also would have been good to know that the train tracks were right behind the property.

Hotel renovation is beautiful. Only concern is the paper thin walls. You can literally hear everything. Sound proofing at least at the room door would make for a much more enjoyable stay.

Horrible , under construction not noted on the booking page , noisy . Unfinished and not up to standards. Called the hotel and requested a refund my wife and I checked out 3 hours after checking in and left due to the noise from occupants in a room above us and the lack of completion of this hotel which was not welcoming or comforting .

The hotel is going to be beautiful upon completion - that's for sure The staff was kind, friendly and helpful But....the bathroom was incredibly dark. Why? I have no idea. But it would have been helpful to have some light when applying makeup. May sound trivial, or not a reason to have a wall mounted makeup mirror at least, but it's a big deterent for me.

Surprised by a Construction Zone
I booked this trip for my husband's birthday getaway. We have stayed at other Hotel Zero locations and had great experiences. What we were not told is that the entire hotel is under renovation. It looked closed when we arrived. Construction is from 8am-6pm daily which was not disclosed before I booked. Lots of construction happening in the hotel, slow elevators due to workers going up and down. Not the experience we hoped for or expected.

With the renovation occurring no amenities were available, at all. I feel discounts should be provided to guest who still consider to stay. I requested a room with a view but was not accommodated. Black panels was placed near the entrance to cover the restaurant which was not appealing

Convenient location off of the Merritt. Staff is very friendly. Bar and restaurant staff very helpful. Food was fantastic. Downside was the hotel is under renovations and rooms are very noisy. Can hear every little thing.

been staying in the hotel for years as we travel from Nantucket to the Phildelphia area and use this hotel as a stopover. They are renovating the hotel which is great but the room we stayed in was so bad. the bed was worn out and I could feel the springs. The duvet was dirty, full of other peoples hairs and the room was in pretty bad shape. i love this hotel for the proximity and being next to a stream. but hey Managers you don't seem to care about your customers who are still coming to stay after all these years.

Nice property - it was under construction on the third floor, (which wasn't noted when I booked). However, they did offer to change rooms to the 2nd floor if I wanted as the hotel wasn't too booked (which made question why they put us on the floor that's under construction to begin with) but alas - she also promised it wouldn't be too much noise ... and it wasn't - PS: the construction started at 9am on the weekend - which is plenty of time for us to get up and ready for the day. The gym is cute but very small - the lobby was very nice and the bar/restaurant area also seemed nice - there always seemed to be an event booked however, whenever we tried to visit on the weekend. There was no creamer in the room for coffee so that was frustrating and the train next to the hotel was a surprise - but it didn't distract too much to be honest. - only heard it a few times. There is the Hudson River next to the hotel (between the hotel and the train tracks) and it's nice to look at the river - which is very slight at this point of the river - but still very pretty. This hotel has potential and perhaps, when the renovations are complete, they will be there. Good luck!
