It's in a great location, tucked away in a private gated estate, so it was lovely and quiet. Two parking spaces on the property is a rare find and it is close enough to town that you can easily walk there in minutes. The property is lovely. It was really clean and homely. Lynette was a really welcoming host and was really accommodating with our late booking. She generously let us arrive early and depart late which made our stay very easy and relaxing especially with two small children. The added touch of leaving chocolates and biscuits was greatly appreciated, especially by our little one, and was a lovely added touch which made us feel more welcome. Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water was good and the main bedroom didn’t get too hot even though it was very warm when we stayed. The little courtyard is lovely too.
