"We had a wonderful 9-day summer stay in August, having come over from England (sorry this review is in English!). The house was fantastic and the area very beautiful. "This is a perfectly located spot in Hallstadt. The cafe next door is fantastic and right on the water. You are still very close walking distance to the center of the town, but thankfully not surrounded by all the crowds of people. I enjoyed exploring the town before and after all the main bus loads of people were gone. Recommend the waterfall hike that is in close proximity. Space was clean and bed/shower was nice was comfortable. THE VIEW. You cannot beat it."

"Location was absolutely wonderful - so quiet and peaceful yet so many ski lifts within 30 mins drive. Gabriela and her family were wonderful hosts - we really enjoying meeting the animals (cats,dog, chickens and cows - not forgetting the gorgeous calf Gloria). "Wow. We stayed for one night outside of Hallstatt. What a beautiful apartment. Loved the espresso machine available and the freshest farm eggs you could ask for. It slept three of us well. We walked into Hallstatt (3.5 miles). It was a lovely and very easy walk to get to Hallstatt. But Obertraun had its own charm. Would definitely recommend in all aspects!! "

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

Their Breakfast offerings have both cold and hot stations. They had fresh fruits and fresh veggies.
