Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a spring.. The Bay is a modern, metal-clad holiday property that perches atop a sea cliff. It has views to rival any on earth with The Old Man of Storr, the Trotternish Ridge and across the inner sound and the Torridon mountains all within sight. It has been carefully constructed to be in keeping with its environment. This detached property, adjacent to the owners’ home, has been beautifully finished to offer guests a very high quality space that truly lifts the soul. Suitable for a couple, The Bay is spacious and makes the most perfect place to stay on the Isle of Skye for a week or two of exploring all this mystical island has to offer.  
  
Being only a 1½ mile walk to The Old Man of Storr, The Bay is unique in being the closest holiday cottage to the world-famous sight. Other world-famous spots are only a short drive away, such as The Quiraing, Brothers’ Point, An Corran beach where dinosaur footprints can be found, Fairy Glen, Duntulm Castle and of course charming Portree. Enjoy a break away on the Trotternish Peninsula where The Bay is situated, alternatively Skye has three other famous peninsulas as well as the Cuillin Mountains to explore. You will wish you had booked for longer. Shop, pub and restaurant 8 miles.

Cozy cabin -quite newly built- with fantastic view out onto the sea Ideal for couples kitchen complete, very comfy couch Washing machine & tumble dryer available Location on cliff near Loch Leathan Dam (above Hydroplant, but that is imperceptible) Just 20min walking to start of Old Man of Storr Trail 10min drive to Portree
