Has a large back-up generator (House is fully powered 24/7). Off-street parking, fully furnished. Very quiet, safe and friendly neighbor hood. Guest access..... You will have access to the entire unit. You can do your laundry, watch your favorite TV show or sports on a 60" flat screen HDTV. You can cook your own meals, eat out or sit back after a long beach day and do some grilling. Neighborhood overview....... The property is located on a private street away from the main highway so there is no traffic noise, every safe and friendly neighborhood, there are 4 houses on my street and I owned two of them, I live in the on across the street so I am always available if my guest need me. It is close to the water only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Getting around You can get a taxi to anywhere you need to go on the island but it will be very pricey, I highly recommend renting a car so you can go wherever you want and when you want. We have a family owned rental car business and we offer our guest up to 15% discount on rental cars. Guest can also take our cars to St John on the car barge from Red Hook to visit and explore the beaches and parks in St John. Other things to note......... We also have a 125KW automatic generator which is necessary in the Virgin Islands. We had a great stay! Our only problem was trying to find the place. We clicked on the google maps link that was provided but it didn’t take us to the condo. The link had us driving all over the place. Dexter was easy to get a hold of and he told us that we needed to actually open google maps and type in “Scott Beach Villas”. Piece of cake after that. I agree with other reviews that driving into the area does look a little sketchy but once at the property, everything was good and we learned from driving around that that is just the way things look on the island. My 75 years old mother and I stayed here and we would not hesitate to stay again. The pool was recently put in and is heated. Just down from the property is Compass Point Marina, which has a breakfast and lunch spot called “An hour late” that we ate at twice. The property is very close to Red Hook but you will need a vehicle to get around, taking taxi’s everywhere will be expensive. ##### Tammy K. We had never been to St. Thomas before so were unsure what to expect. The owner of this property made it simple. The condo was everything we needed with a beautiful view from the balcony. Dexter (owner) provides all necessities (linens, towels \[including beach towels\], fully equipped kitchen with tea towels, dish soap, scrubbing sponge, paper towels and garbage bags, ample shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. In short, the only thing I might have desired but didn’t have were tissues. There is a small beach a two minute walk away that rarely has anyone else on it. Getting in the water is a bit of a challenge due to the rocky sea floor, but one becomes more adept each time and it is so worth it to have the beach to yourself. A grocery store is close (very expensive but extremely convenient). Red Hook (dining, car ferry) is a short drive away. Dexter runs a car rental service so we took advantage of this. Someone meets you at the airport with the car, and again at the curbside departure area for its return. Very easy. In short, we would stay here again if we returned to St. Thomas. ##### Amanda S. The unit was clean and tidy & had everything we needed to make it our home for 5 days including a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel equipment. We also rented a car from the owner which was much needed to get around the island though it took a little getting used to driving on the left side of the road. We enjoyed making some meals in the kitchen and hanging on the balcony watching a family of birds in a nest nearby. The pool was a nice retreat. Grills looked clean though we did not use them. Washer & dryer located outside was helpful to have. We recommend staying here & getting a car for the convenience. ##### Steve P.
