Perfect location RIGHT on the ocean and convenient to everything. Check out my 2 bedroom unit also. Book both my units to accommodate parties up to 10 guests Welcome to our FANTASTIC oceanfront studio condo at Watergate Villas, Bolongo Bay, St. Thomas. When it comes to your vacation, as they say in real estate, it's location, location, location! As you can see from our pictures, this unit's prime location is literally a coconut's throw away from the water. Take a look at the fabulous view from our patio. You will hear the waves every minute of every day. You will love the convenience of our fully appointed kitchen if you like to make some of your own meals. All cooking utensils, dishware, glassware and appliances all NEW as of Feb 2022\. If you have stayed in vacation condos before you will be IMPRESSED by the level of quality and detail we go to in making the unit feel like home. This unit also has the modern split unit air conditioning as opposed to the noisy wall units in many other properties. You will LOVE the difference! The island has countless restaurant options just a short drive away, but there are also 3 convenient oceanfront restaurants that are a short walk down the beach. Mim's Seaside Bistro is located on the property and is more of an upscale dining experience open just for dinner. IGGIE'S beach bar is just a 200 yard walk down the beach and every night they are sure to please with various live entertainment. You will also find The Lobster Grill, a little further down at Bolongo Beach Resort. I personally love going there for breakfast always a table oceanside. Also located at the resort are a PADI certified dive shop, water sports rentals, spa services and daily catamaran tours. Bolongo Bay has fantastic snorkeling right here without having to travel anywhere. The condo in total is roughly 550 square feet and has a great layout with an open floor plan, plus a full bathroom with upgraded shower head and great water pressure. . . The main living area and kitchen open up to the patio and fabulous view of both the mountains and ocean. On a calm day you can actually see fish and sea turtles right from your patio. Sitting on the patio listening to the waves just never gets old. Since the patio faces east, it gets shade by late morning, so it is ideal temperature all afternoon long. The choices for nightlife on the island are many, but if you prefer staying in to rest for your next day, we have cable TV And a Large Smart TV with WI-FI access to all your favorite streaming movies on Netflix.. Our front door is convenient in proximity to the parking area and the laundry room is just a few steps from our door as well. Our unit is one of the most nicely appointed studios you will find in all of the Caribbean. We take great pride on having top a quality mattress and premium linens, ensuring a great NIGHT of rest, for the best vacation DAYS. We provide beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel equipment, beach toys, coolers, Bluetooth radio and much more. Most everything has been just newly replaced so it is all in great condition. The condo's location on the island is ideal. You will be less than a 15 minute drive from both of the primary towns on the island. Charlotte Amalie offers up a generous amount of culture with its abundance of historical buildings, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Whatever it is you are looking for, you are sure to find it in Charlotte Amalie. The lively yachting hub of Red Hook is just a 10 minute drive east. This quaint little town will make you want visit the island again and again. You will find both locals and tourists enjoying everything from a great cocktail to a café latte. Red Hook is also the best place to take the ferry to St. John and the British Virgin Islands, which are just FABULOUS! I have so much more to tell you and would love the chance to speak more in depth about the many places I haven't mentioned. Mike was a magnificent host and answered any questions we had and also provided much information on the island, from things to do, to places to eat and shop. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay 3 more nights at another property of his, which was equally as wonderful. If you want a little piece of heaven on the island, I highly suggest this place. Our host, Mike was terrific! He gave us lots of information ahead of our stay and we knew he was available if needed to address any concerns (& we never had any concerns). The place was modest, comfortable and clean with accurate photos and description in listing. The apartment colors/ decor fit nicely in the peaceful setting- the view from the deck - gorgeous! We loved our morning coffee & evenings under the stars. The bed was comfortable (we slept great) and the bathroom had a large tiled walk-in shower and fluffy big towels. The kitchen had all of our "essentials" and it was an easy walk to Mims Seafood Restaurant and Iggies (we had dinner at both). We snorkeled everyday at different beaches - often swimming with friendly turtles! (Nice beach accessories in large walk -in closet). We really enjoyed our stay. The only note I'd add is that for anyone who is older, or who has knee issues, the unit is on the lower level - a couple flights down stairs. Thanks, Mike! ##### Jean D. He had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. The view from the lanai is wonderful. We loved having the iguanas greet us every morning and evening. We didn’t feed them, but they were definitely hoping we did. The beach amenities ( cooler, chairs and umbrella) made the stay even better. Mike provides a very detailed welcome package with awesome suggestions. Mike is a super host and we would definitely stay there again. Suggested to Mike to have add a drying rack and possibly room darkening curtain for the windows by the door, but otherwise that’s it. Perfect condo for your island adventures. ##### Michelle M. When you book this wait to hear from "Mike" he will let you know the best rental cars and best excursions to book. Mike helped us book Ocean Surfari -snorkeling. We booked Bad Kitty with Calypso. The location is great. Bolongo Bay is a quiet and relaxing place to spend the day. There are a couple restaurants near bye with bars. It is also very convenient to catch a cab either at the street (about a 10 min walk) or within the complex. Taxi Rides to Redhook or to Charolette Amalie from the complex are about 20 or 30 bucks for two. The room was very clean and has all the amenities as listed. The host (Mike) is very responsive and helpful as well. Over all our stay was a very positive experience and we would be quick to do it again. ##### Brock P. The condo is better than the listing could show! Pictures don’t do the view from the balcony any justice. Mike, the owner was the best. Contacted us within minutes of booking and made this trip amazing with his great advice from his own written guide. We had a group of 20 other friends staying in various parts of St Thomas, and they were ALL jealous of our condo, beach and view. We even paid less then them! They took copies of Mike’s guide to find the best beach locations. It was truly the best experience, and we will be back with the rest of the family in one of Mike’s bigger Condos on the same bay. ##### Charlie P. The studio is up to date and spotless. Stocked with everything you may need for dishes to beach items. From the beginning to end of the vacation, Mike was available for any questions. Communication was extremely easy. This condo is directly on the beach so even at night you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Would definitely stay again. ##### Michele S. Beautiful view and the best thing about the property is Mike and all the accessories he leaves in the house. We went to St John's twice (loved it) with our car and could take everything from chairs, umbrella, cooler, scubing gear with us. That alone every day saves you a ton if money and hassle. Mike is a great guy and prepared a long brochure about everything you need to do about the islands. My only no positive comment is that I generally like thin pillows and a finer mattrese but it was absolutely fine and the unit is so incredibly furnished with everything . Note you have any type of internet tv access including netflicks and amazon but no cable tv . Overall highly recommened, perfect location and great value for the money.. ##### Arnold T. The owner provided a nice packet on what to do and see in St. Thomas. The owner is extremely responsive and genuinely seemed interested in making sure we had a good time. The condo's Bolongo Bay location is centrally located within a 20 to 30 minute drive of most must see/do spots in St. Thomas. I would have given this a 4.5 stars if I could but felt I couldn't give a full 5 stars because the condo complex is in a bit of a state of flux due to construction on a couple of buildings and also on the beach-front in front of the pool. Also, a lot of the pool beach chairs by the pool were in bad shape. Overall, had a great time and would consider coming back after the construction is completed. ##### Bill M.
