The bathroom was not clean

Very disappointed. The tub and bathroom floor had long dark hair on it which really stood out against the white tub and white floor.

Disappointed...

Pros: The courtyard and restaurant.
Cons: Make sure the rooms are odor free. Tell your guests to expect loud music in certain areas of the hotel. Be a welcoming staff-say thank you!
Location: We were advised not to park our car outside the hotel's steel gate. Restaurants about 2 blocks away but you had to walk through dark, unsafe areas.
Check-in at the front desk went smoothly. Room #403 had a very strong, pungent and very unpleasant odor (resulted in me having an asthma attack). They gave us keys to another room (did not offer to move our luggage) and that room #431 faced a junkyard & a bar & grill that played loud music until 10 pm. I asked if I could get a refund (and I would find another hotel) but they declined because I did not book through them.We were exhausted after traveling on planes all day, so we just left and went for dinner. We finally got some sleep after 10 pm. Also, we were literally awakened at 430am by roosters crowing. Upon checkout, the hotel staff at the front desk didn't thank us for staying at the hotel or even smile. Also, this is an older building which was not reflected in the pictures. Very disappointing stay. Feel like we were overcharged. Will not recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Acceptable accommodation, good location & price

Pros: Very close to ferry terminal, shopping area and airport. Price is fair. Breakfast was good.
Cons: I wish we could have checked in sooner. Check out time is noon but they hold to a strict 4:00 pm check-in time.
Location: Its Charlotte Amalie, need I say more.
The location and price worked for us. My wife and I walked there from the ferry terminal with 2 large duffles, 2 carryons and two additional small bags. It was a short walk to the shopping district and restuarants. Building is old but had some renovation. Room & bathroom clean and acceptable. Carpet & chair were clean but worn and stained from coffee or soda. Hotel restaurant served a good breakfast. Housekeeping supervisor is "not" nice. Ask for a room change as we bed sheet was stained and thought we saw a roach in the bathroom. Front desk was great & quickly worked on getting another room cleaned so we could move and. Housekeeping supervisor was very condescending & demanded that we show her the problem with the sheet. She did not seem satisfied. In moving I started to unlock the wrong room door she told me I "needed to read the signs". Both bellman & I could not get AC remote control to work in 2nd room so maintenance came immediately. About 5 minutes later the housekeeping supervisor called asked why we could not get the AC working when she had turned it on & left it running. I guess it was necessary to try and make us feel stupid. We are OK with the hotel, accomodations & staff & would definitely book this hotel again, we just hope we would not have need to deal with the housekeeping supervisor. She is certainly not helping them to keep customers. The front desk and bellmen should handle customer contact to avoid this situartion.

Pros: The location
Cons: Customer Service. The staff at the widward passage need training in Customer Service, and how to treat your customers.
The hotel is at a great location. The staff are not friendly at all.

Good stay but A/C was an issue

Pros: Everything else was good
Cons: better A/C, and upgrade all TVs to have HDMI inputs
A/C had issues cooling the room, and had to request for a new tv because the first one had no HDMI input.
