Your beach retreat is here at Blue Door Cottage. The best features are the family size pool (with option to heat in cooler months) and poolside screened in porch featuring a large TV. Here guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We are located just 4 streets away to the popular Coast Guard Station Beach entrance. \[Special Discounts\] Enter these dates to see discounted rates: July 11-16, 2026 (up to 5 nights) THE SPACE Family Room has comfortable seating with large TV and is open to the dining room, kitchen and access to the screened in porch. Just down the hall are the bedrooms and the Queen suite is located upstairs beyond the kitchen. A drip coffee maker and grill have been provided for your use. Why Stay on East Beach: The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.
