This island oasis has everything that you need to stay and relax at the beach. Very spacious, extra clean 2 bedroom condo, 1.5 baths with laundry room, dining room, open living room with fireplace that opens up to a deck for outdoor dining with a view of the golf course and lake. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and sitting area, second bedroom two queen size beds, and the living room a large comfortable sofa, making this condo comfortable for six. An outdoor shower is conveniently located right out the front door for a quick rinse from a day at the beach. Just steps away a beautiful pool for all day relaxation.

We had a visitor...

Unfortunately the first night we were surprised to have a visitor while we were settling in. A mouse ran from the living room into the kitchen/laundry area and hid under the washing machine. We also noticed a whole in the wall next the the fridge. Maybe the dryer used to be there...I dont know but it's likely how theouse is getting in/out. We then slowly started finding the mouse droppings. Luckily it seemed to only hang around the first floor because we didn't find any droppings in anything of the bedrooms upstairs. I understand things happen and clearly it's a known issue in the community because the next morning while taking our dogs out, we noticed 2 black boxes/rodent traps outside - one by our building and another by the neighbors. I think our main concern was the lack of communication. I let them know about this issue on our second day and the owners never responded to or acknowledged my concern. Aside from the mouse, the only other tad annoying issue was that the address listed in VRBO is not the correct address so that was confusing at 11pm at night. In the end it was on me because the owner had messaged me with the correct address and additional details for our stay. Wasn't a terrible stay but certainly wasn't the best.

Great Stay

The condo was perfect. Clean, great size, and 5-10 minutes away from anything you’d like to do in the area. The hosts were very responsive and communicative. Very easy going. The pool is also within feet. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The pool was convenient and was never too crowded. The beach is only 10 minutes away. There’s an outdoor shower so we could get the sand off of our feet. There’s a tv in every room. Best place to stay around St. Simon beach and this is our 2nd summer coming here. We plan on coming back next year!

It turned out ok

When we arrived, the condo was very hot & moldy. We turned down the air. However, the air conditioning and air quality did not improve. We could NOT sit on the deck because it was filthy. I texted Cindy. The suggestion was to open the windows. I did not feel comfortable doing that is I was the youngest of the three of us and I'm almost 72. Also, I felt uncomfortable with the next-door neighbors. That said, Cindy sent someone over to check the air and things did improve. The maid came over and cleaned the deck but she stated the cushions maybe too wet to sit on during our stay. She also changed the air filter. The 3 of us saw the state of the air filter. It was so gross and filthy. You could see the mold all in the filter. In fact, I don't know that I have ever seen a filter that dirty. When the filter & air was checked, the comfort of the condo was so much improved. We could feel good air conditioning and the air quality was breathable. Thank goodness. Note: We were there to celebrate in the Founder's Day Celebration. That, in and of itself, was absolutely glorious. Then, when Cindy, took care of the issues, the condo worked out ok. However, it may be helpful to you that there were cigarette butts right off the front door steps. I assume they came from the migrant workers staying next door because they were always - at least 4 or 5 of them were sitting on the front porch during the evening hours. I hope you find this helpful.

Favorite getaway

This is the 2nd time staying at this condo and it won’t be my last. My daughter and I adore this condo and it’s perfect for the 2 of us. Has everything we need and close to our friends who visit the island as well.

Evacuation Vacation

Stayed at this property as we needed to evacuate from Florida due to Hurricane Milton. The owners were very responsive and supportive. Even though we booked only about 24 hours before we arrived, the property was clean and ready for our family of 4. We appreciated the location that was close enough to easily access the beach, restaurants, and shops but far enough from shore to minimize impact as the storm passed south of the island. Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to return under better circumstances!

Nice place

This place could use some sprucing up. Mostly paint and parching.Back patio was kind of a mess. The garbage can was full of stinky garbage all week end. Until I put it out as ask on Sunday night. They do not provide soap or shampoo so bring your own. The furniture was comfortable and the bedrooms also had comfortable beds. The kitchen has minimal furnishings for for food prep and cooking. The owners are very responsive to all concerns. St Simons Island is a hidden gem and I would stay here again if I went back.

The house was lovely and so close to the beach. Everything looked exactly like the pictures and exceeded our expectations. There was a pool in the community so we ended up being there a lot when the beach was too windy! We absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

Nice visit

The condo was clean, beds were comfortable, decor very nice. It needs some TLC, a paint job all over, towel rack is non existent in bathroom, dishes only for 4. Good location to see St. Simons and Jekyll Islands.

Winter Holiday Getaway

3rd trip to SSI. First time renting this condo...perfect set up for my sister and our dogs. Great location! Only minutes from the dog-friendly off-leash beach which we visited daily. Look forward to returning.

This condo suited my family's needs perfectly as we were in town to visit my mother for Thankgiving. Location was ideal, right off the causeway. Everything was comfortable and the rental was a very good value.

Relaxing Coastal Getaway

This unit was clean & had all the basics you need for a getaway! We stayed there with friends and it was convenient to get to as soon as you're on the island and also if you want to make a trip to Jekyll it's quicker to get off the island. Would definitely rent this unit again! We had a much needed comfortable and relaxing weekend here!
