This property is a 1930’s bungalow fully renovated with beautiful finishes for a high-end experience and the location is EVERYTHING! Here you will be able to walk 1 block over to the village shops and restaurants and 3 blocks to walk by the ocean and visit the lighthouse. This property is set on a quiet street tucked between a park with gorgeous oaks (photo-moment!) and on the other side the start of the village/pier area to walk to local shops and restaurants. The main beach is just a short 3 minute drive, but we recommend renting bikes for the ultimate island experience. You will love your stay at the Cottages at Neptune Way! Our host was very accommodating and we had a lovely gift bag awaiting us on arrival. Location is perfect—we were able to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go. They are all very tastefully decorated and well stocked. However, there are doors that connect to each unit and a curtain in front of the doors with some added soundproofing (like egg crate). But you can still hear a lot from the next unit from my master bedroom. In fact, if you are in the bathroom (next to door), you can hear 100% of the conversation. So, that wasn't exactly restful. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this in the comments. Other than that, I cannot say enough good things about the place and its proximity to everything. ##### Marianne B. It was very clean, close to shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach and community pool. The owners were very friendly and quickly responded to our questions. They were also very helpful with us having to change our dates. The home was beautifully designed, modern, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. And as if the home itself weren't already fantastic, the location can't be beat--you are just a few minutes from the downtown area of SSI. It was so convenient to not have to drive anywhere. Incredibly clean and wonderful for families or friends staying in the area. We really liked the proximity to the shops and restaurants that St Simons has to offer. My folks loved that we were able to walk to breakfast and dinner each night, plus visit some of the shops nearby. The place itself has everything you could ask for. Clean, spacious, plenty of beds for people to stay.
