Take approximately 20 steps to the front door and enter the first level of this lovely townhome. On the main floor, there is one bedroom with a full size bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower as well as the kitchen, den and dining room. Plenty of room for everyone! The next level has a king master bedroom with en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The remaining guest room has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Harbour Oaks provides one covered parking space with extra spaces for additional cars. The Harbour Oaks community is situated in a quiet gated area off Mallery Street. You are just a few blocks from the famous St. Simons Island Village/Pier, St. Simons Lighthouse, Neptune Fun Zone and many one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants. Just outside the gates, you will find the local park on Mallery Street featuring tennis & pickleball courts, dog park, baseball fields and playground. Community amenities include a swimming pool (open seasonally), tennis courts and fitness room. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lagoons throughout. CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am • Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons). • Strict HOA 2 dog limit. Dogs are allowed with additional $100/pup non-refundable pet fee. • 1 Covered parking spot is available. Harbour Oaks is a great place to stay near the village on SSI. It's also a quick walk, bike or golf cart ride to "other" side of the Isle--King and Prince area and East Beach. The condo overlooked the stream that runs through the complex so that you can see the turtles. The furniture was cozy and there are two master suites (in addition to a third bedroom), so ideal for two couples to share with kids. Dog friendly, too! The only down side was that the porch is so teeny (and access to it is blocked by the sofa) that it's really not a place you can sit. There are benches throughout the complex, so we were able to hang out there for a drink in the eve. ##### Melissa L. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, rental close to park for kids, walking distance to beach and restaurants, and gated entry. The kids loved seeing the turtles in the water on the property. The pool was fun and I used the gym facility on the property. They also have tennis courts. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property appears to have recently been purchased, and the new owners are in the process of updating and decorating it, but haven't completed that process. There are picture hooks on the walls with no pictures. The master closet is a mess. The shower in the rear downstairs bathroom has so little pressure that it is effectively useless. The worst part about the property is that it wasn't clean. The floors needed vacuuming (check behind the side table closest to the window in the master - filthy). The sheets and comforters didn't appear to have been washed since the last rental, so we washed them ourselves.
