We are in the heart of a quaint island neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a rocking chair front porch. Dining room is open to large kitchen with gas stove and stainless appliances. Off the kitchen dining area is a screened in back porch with additional dining for 6\. There is a half bathroom off the kitchen. Upstairs: Guest bedroom, queen with adjoining combo tub/shower bathroom. Guest bedroom, queen with hall combo tub/shower bathroom. Hall, laundry room. Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater. The only downside is that this property does not have a pool or access to one. Fortunately, we rented a golf cart(a must!) and we're able to quickly get to the beach and all over!
