Dedicated double-deep parking space for cars PLUS an RV or Boat. \* One block over to Sunset Beach. \* 1 mile to Howard Park & Beach. \* 2 miles to Historic Sponge Docks. \* A 6 min to Gorgeous Innisbrook Golf Courses. The Copperhead Golf Course is the most recognizable of Innisbrook’s four golf courses and is the host course every March for the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship. \* A 15 min to Honeymoon Island and the ferry to Caladesi Island voted consistently as one of the top 10 beaches in the US. \* A 30 min to Clearwater Beach. Clearwater Beach dazzles with impeccable beaches and inviting waters. Trip Advisor named it the nation's #1 beach in 2018. There are lots of fun things in our area, there is a concert at Sunset Beach the first Thursday of each month. Sunset Beach Park is a local favorite with kite boarders, boaters, fishermen, and a perfect place to watch the Sunset. Howard Park with a beach, picnic sites, kayak trail through mangroves, walking trails and a lot of BBQ sets. The Sponge Docks has gift shops, restaurants and boat tours out to one of the islands, you might see dolphins and manatees. Explore the River, Bayous and The Gulf of Mexico. All are a perfect setting for boating, fishing and swimming or just communing with nature. A quick 1.6 mile drive/ride to the Pinellas Trail (over 50 miles of paved cycling/walking trails covering the whole county). I usually stay down in Clearwater or St Pete but it's often a crap shoot with rentals, but Tarpon Springs is very different. I was looking for something different, untouristy - this is exactly that. There's not a lot of rental options near the water which is what makes Tarpon Springs so quiet and relaxing, it's neighborhood after neighborhood with a small downtown and sponge docks nearby. The reviews on this rental were amazing which caught my eye and they lived up to their score! The unit is on the backside of a house in a little neighborhood that felt safe and only two blocks from the water and a mile to the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked with every dish and appliance you can imagine. Lots of other supplies and amenities as well. It was July and felt like 100° so we did not end up using the bikes to go to the beach, we drove instead, but the bikes were very conviently available, along with coolers and beach chairs and beach towels! The owners were so sweet, right there if you need anything whatsoever, or invisible if you don't. Would definitely recommend their place but I just found out they also have a rental in Dunedin, which I want to visit next!
