You can walk to restaurants and shops. Their are beaches in all directions. The only negative would be the shower. It is difficult to get in and out of. It also has a shower hose that you have to hold while you wash. It was difficult and not very enjoyable. Everything else was perfect. We loved our stay. We walked practically everywhere. The owners were right on top of things when I told them the main bed was broken and some lights were burned out. Loved the dining room table, that is one of the reasons I booked this place, it seats 8 people. If I had to pick something to complain about, I would have to go with the shower, there just wasn't anywhere to set your shampoo or soap. And the back deck had a couple saggy boards. Its in a sandy area with a crushed shell driveway so no getting around the sand in the house. The shower like everyone in the reviews complains about is what it is. Being from the NE United States and owning two 200+ year old homes, this is normal and not really a inconvenience. If i wanted a hotel or luxury experience i would stay in a $500 per night location. This property is cozy and perfect. Walking distance to sponge docs 2 minutes and 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants. E bike rentals close by. 20 minutes by car to the tourist areas like Clearwater Beach and Safety Harbor. I will definitely stay here again. Felt like home. ##### Todd S. However sheet not on bed and washing machine had things in the dryer and was broken. As mentioned by others shower was problematic, hard to hold soap and sprayer at the same time. Could use a shelf. May 25, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location Disliked: Check-in #### Great Location, bathroom needs updating The property is in a great location, steps from the docks and restaurants. It is not a true three bedroom, though. The third bed is in a converted sunroom off the kitchen with just a curtain for privacy. There is a lot of light there too. This may work for some, but for smaller children didn’t work. Also be aware that there currently is no mounted shower head in the bathroom, just handheld so showering is a real challenge. This was pretty surprising and disappointing. Updating the shower/bathroom would be a big improvement. Owner was very responsive to questions and did a great job ensuring the guaranteed pack n play was there and in good condition. There are plenty of towels/linens/blankets. ##### Sarah W. May 7, 2023 Liked: Communication, location #### Weekend getaway The house was super hot when we arrived and took a couple hours to cool down, ceiling fans would help. The garbage disposal does not work. The shower is handheld and tub took a long time to drain. No where to put toiletries in tub or by the sink. There was a hole in the ceiling where a light should have been. Almost every room needs repair for holes in the walls. The wash machine smells like mildew needs to be cleaned. The location was great and the master bedroom bed was super comfortable. Also a little info on what channels or apps to that are available. ##### Lee C. George was a wonderful host and I emailed him twice and each time, the quickest and nicest response. I did not need as much room as the house provided, but I fell in love with it and the location.
