The building itself is older and looks it. But the unit was up to date and VERY clean. The pool and hot tub area was clean as well. We came in early November and we more or less had the place to ourselves. The view from the room was excellent. The walk to the beach and the walking path at the beach was great. We walked everywhere!!! Middle Grounds Grille was great and having Dunkin Donuts, the cleanest Waffle House and Scoops ice cream literally right across the street was amazing! We had a car, but you really don’t need one! The only issue was getting to the beach is a quarter of a mile and it rained the whole weekend on and off, which flooded the path to the beach. the water was more than ankle deep which made it difficult to get my 83 yrs mother across to the beach, so we did not enjoy it as much as we could have. On a whim, right before Memorial Day weekend, we decided to spend the night at the beach, and looked for a last-minute booking. So many places were full - but TA-DA, up popped this VRBO opportunity! I called my brother and sis-in-law who live in Sarasota; they came up and joined us. Wonderful apartment, exactly as described - except the beach is actually much closer than one of the reviews states \[it's maybe 400 yards away, not 1/2 mile\]. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped, the balcony is great for hanging out and watching the sunset. The pool is mighty fine too! We took full advantage of everything. :) Special thanks to Veronica, the manager, who helped us out with parking. Will definitely return. ##### Anne E.
