The pool pictured is a community pool in the area. The kids were pretty bummed. Cottage has some repairs needed for floors, sink holes where we were afraid to step,especially in the kitchen. Sofa bed is really bad but kitchen Murphy bed and bedroom bed is good. I called Capt Al and he immediately resolved the situation by placing us in the Captain’s House which was an upgrade! The location is perfect! We were within walking distance to restaurants and most importantly to us, the beach that allows dogs. The house is close to the road and yet it is very quiet. It was a wonderful experience and continued even up until check out. The Host was absolutely as kind and generous as they come. He was very attentive and made himself very available. There was never a need to go hunting for him as he checked in with us and was always around to conversate. The home was so cozy and clean, Beds were all great, location, bedding, extra linens, just any and everything you would need. I will definitely stay again. We stayed in the Tiki Hut Cottage and it was very clean and well kept. We had plenty of space with my husband and two adult children. We loved the hot tub and the easy walk to the beach and local restaurants. Capt. Al was around and open for questions. The hospitality staff was very quick to send more towels and bedding and always friendly. My daughter and I used the bikes and explored around the island. We also loved that there were chairs and beach toys available for guest use. Everyone we met around the property, from Capt. Al to the guests, were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.
