SHOULD YOU PURCHASE THE POOL HEATING PACKAGE, THE POOL HEATER WILL BE SET AT 85 DEGREES AND CANNOT BE ADJUSTED FROM THAT TEMP. Parking allowed only in driveway only. We cannot guarantee the pool will be warm during the cold weather months, even with with the purchase of the $35 daily pool heater package, and will not give discounts or refunds should a guest experience cold pool water temperatures. Pool is not heated between May 1 and October 31\. Between November 1 to the end of April, you have the option of purchasing the pool heater package at $35 per day of your stay. If you purchase the pool heater package, the pool will be heated to 85 degrees, however, during very cold weather, the pool water will likely not be warmed to 85 degrees. Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th. The house was perfect for grandparents, my 1 year old and myself. The location was perfect. The pool was not very warm when we first arrived. The location was perfect for us as we came to see a friends band play 3 miles away at OCC Roadhouse. The house is in a very nice residential neighborhood and there is a grocery store 2 miles away. Quiet neighborhood and perfect location with a pool to float in all day. I loved watching the ducks and other wildlife out the kitchen slider while having my morning coffee. The area was incredibly quiet. I was in the area for a research conference and it was so relaxing to come back this house and pool. The quietness allowed me wind down after a long days at the conference. I highly recommend this property for whatever reason brings you to the area. Beds are comfortable and linens fresh. The heated pool was great! The location is perfect. You’re basically in the middle of everything. Drive 25 mins east to Tampa, 20 mins west to Clearwater, 30 mins south to John’s pass, 40 mins south to Ft Desoto. Rated it a 4 because the 2nd bedroom window did not lock. If you aren’t familiar with FL travel times, double check them. I’m use to 15 miles means 15 minute travel time..in FL it’s more like 45 minutes. Pool was beautiful however cold.
