Safety Harbor is an awesome little town very walkable and many of shops and nearby parks. Any store you can think of is only minutes away and Clearwater Beach is only about 20 minutes away. We loved the location and the convenience to walk downtown (2 blocks down Main St to 9th and then the rest of Main is shops and restaurants). I loved the retro feel as well. My husband and I enjoyed our stay for 4 nights in the delightful beach bungalow. The Retro vintage decor was cheerful and inviting, everything was spotless. Water pressure , tub , abundant hot water and quality shower head were especially appreciated since I ran the BDR half marathon and it soothed the muscle soreness! Beds were comfortable and clean. Plenty of amenities for the whole stay. We walked downtown often so the location was perfect.
