My husband has a motor scooter and Pelican Pointe accommodated it nicely with the elevator and a spacious unit. The unit was clean and functional but could use an update, fixtures are old, kitchen sink did not drain quickly, TV took some fiddling to turn on, wifi was spotty, had to reconnect over the week and called the help line. The dresser is nice and sturdy and having the chairs outside the door was a pleasant way to have morning coffee. Staff was helpful and friendly, pool was clean and water toys were provided. Great location and would definitely recommend! Have been going to CLB for 7-8 years now and stayed in lots of places with various price points but all higher than this place and for our needs, the cleanliness, beautiful pool, great views and the breeze make this one probably my favorite. Oh, did I mention it was less than $140/night in late August? If you don't need a resort and all the amenities they why pay $500/night. This place is next door to Salty's Island Bar & Grille and the Happy Hour drinks and food are fantastic. PS- 3 stars on check in as we had to wait until EXACTLY 3PM to check in because that's when the rooms are going to ready? Really? , all the rooms are ready exactly at 3? ##### John H.
