Please be aware that Hurricane Helene 2024 left some scars. Both of our units are upstairs and were spared, with no damage at all. However, there was flood damage to the downstairs units. They are now fully mold remediated (even the upstairs was treated as an extra precaution). The whole courtyard, the pool, washers, dryers all have been replaced. The downstairs units will be eventually restored, doors, drywall, furniture etc. It is insurance related and of course manpower related. Just permitting will take at least 2 months from now. If we know more, we will post it. The unit is spacious enough for a long-term stay. The floor plan allows for a bed, desk, flat-screen TV, dining table and comfortable chair all with distance to the kitchen and a nice-sized bathroom with hairdryer and plush towels. With the layout as a T configuration, you will still be in the midst of the action without feeling too confined. The sheets were stained the toiletries were lacking and it’s nice that they have beach equipment but the stuff could really use some updating as the chairs do not look safe to sit on so we ended up not using them to avoid having to pay for them if they did break. The public beach access was not available due to nasty standing water had to Trespass on adjoining property to access beach ( we were approached by owners about trespassing) we had no choice did not make the experience enjoyable. Beach was unkempt. The room was fine just needs updated stuff like rugs, shower head ect. The room did supply chairs and umbrella which was nice ! I wish we had been told about construction going on not owners fault but it woujd have been nice to know we came for our vacation to relax that didn’t happen ! We have stayed here before was a nice place and experience the beach was beautiful 5 yrs ago a lot has changed ! The check-in process was smooth and the property manager was helpful and very responsive. The unit was clean and comfortable. I loved that we were so close to the beach. Would definitely come back in the future. Highly recommend this property! We didn’t bring our own vehicle, nor did we rent one and that worked out just fine. We were able to catch rides on the trolley to go down to John’s Pass. We also spent a lot of time down at the Conch (definitely recommend!). Only thing is - the Citgo gas station that’s within comfortable walking distance was closed, so we used Uber to order some bags of ice. There’s a Winn Dixie and CVS nearby, but I wouldn’t want to walk there and back in the Florida sun. So, if you visit without a vehicle, plan to catch an Uber or use public transit to stock up on groceries and ice. Loved that the property includes umbrellas, a cooler, chairs, hat, and a bodyboard.
