Nice pools and right on the beach. Hotel has lots of character. Rooms nicely appointed and recently renovated but small. Bathroom is tiny. Surprised they charged for chaises on the beach. Overall seems like the best option in the area if you are looking for a luxury hotel.
"Great place to enjoy the best of St. Pete's Beach"
We arrived and were immediately greeted by a friendly bellman. Our room wasn't quite ready, but the gentleman offered to check our bags and have them delivered when it was ready. I even received a call when everything was set. The bars and restaurants are all enjoyable. The frozen drinks were tasty. The opportunity to reserve a cabana made morning beach visits a breeze. The adult pool was SO appreciated, and it was relaxing and calm.
The staff throughout our time at Tradewinds were the best (Tiffany at Red Beard's, Kevin the barman/karaoke King, Bridget in housekeeping, and Beau at the lobby bar...they went above and beyond. So great...so friendly and fun.).
The trip was enjoyable, and I can't think of one drawback. We're looking forward to another visit.
Best experience in have ever experienced from staff at a resort. They were always right on and very geniune!! We will definitely go back... need to request ground floor ocean side is perfect suite. Loved being able to just walk out to the beach...
"Beautiful, spacious rooms right on the white sands"
Gorgeous, quiet, spacious rooms - totally remodeled. Great location. Right on the beach. Walking distance or quick drive to restaurants. Best bonus - privileges at historic Don Cesar Hotel. Enjoyed quiet of our hotel and spent day at the lively pool at the Don. This was our second stay in six months!
Our stay at the Sirata hotel was perfect. Hotel staff was friendly and took the time to answer all questions. Harry's beach bar is a great place to grab a few drinks while walking over to the beach. We stayed in a king suite for Memorial day weekend which was very clean and comfortable. It even had a jacuzzi in the middle of the living room which was a plus. Overall the sirata resort was great, plenty of places to eat within walking distance and would definitely recommend going to Grand plazas level 11 for the sunset. I would rate our stay at sirata resort as a 4.9 out of 5
Spent three nights. Room was what I would have expected for a typical on beach property. Spent our time out and at the beach. Bed was comfortable. Not high end but worth the cost. Seemed clean. Restaurant was okay for breakfast. Parked the car and walked to everything we needed. Groceries, drug store, and restaurants. Would stay here again.
Everything was satisfactory. Food was excellent from the breakfast choices to quality. Dinner menu was full of excellent choices. Escargo was excellent and the swordfish was out of this world. The bartender seemed out out and rushed, but the waitress was attentive. The staff at the front desk were multitasking and also rushed dealing with check in and check outs while answering constant phone calls. Perhaps someone is needed in the back to answer phone calls so they can give attention to people standing in front of them. My iron leaked all over and was broken.i had to get to a meeting, but no one was available to 7, then I was told the irons were locked up and had to wait for housekeeping that didn't come in till 8.
The hotel was located in a perfect location for enjoying St Pete Beach. There were many restaurants and stores nearby, along with a restaurant and tiki bar located onsite. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is outdated a bit, needing a bit of attention to modernize the rooms. However, for the price we paid it suited our needs in every way. We wanted to walk the beach each morning and evening, rest soundly, and easily move about the area. All were accomplished at this hotel.
