An entire property just for you, offering a welcome and memorable retreat, with privacy, comfort and self catering amenities. Suitable for solos, couples, friends and small families including your 4-legged family members. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included, enclosed garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. With tasteful, comfortable furnishings, the accommodation provides sitting room, kitchen / dining area and separate office. It is in excellent condition with new, up-to-date equipment and utensils, including dishwasher and washer dryer, smart TV and wi-fi internet access. The bedrooms have high quality, comfortable new beds and mattresses, and tiled bathroom with new modern fittings, including thermostatic power shower and heated towel rail. There is a delightful garden, with table and chairs, off-street car parking and the property also benefits from security lights. We are on the edge of the historic and charming village of Buckden, Cambridgeshire - famous for its Palace, once home to Catherine of Aragon, and beautiful medieval church which was recorded in 1086, in the Domesday Book. Surrounded by countryside with wonderful walks and a night sky perfect for stargazing, the accommodation is a stroll away from the village high street with chemist, food shops, butchers, coffee shop, hairdresser and 3 pubs. Only 10 minutes to the nearest large towns of Huntingdon or St Neots, where you will find further amenities such as banks, larger shops, cinemas and restaurants etc. Should you require more amenities, you are close to Northampton, Peterborough, Ely and the nearby university city of Cambridge, with its guided walks, numerous museums, including the famous Fitzwilliam, punting on the River Cam, open top bus tours and great shops, cafés and restaurants. Just a few miles away is the beautiful Grafham Water, which is a huge reservoir with a brilliant outdoor sports centre. You can cycle, walk and take part in all manner of watersports, such as sailing and windsurfing. Other nearby attractions include Northbrook riding stables, Hamerton Zoo Park, Wicksteed Park, and spa / golf resort at Wyboston Lakes.
