« staff were very friendly, the location was perfect and felt safe, and we liked the overall style of the hotel. However, the room we stayed in was not as impressive as it looked in the photos and felt quite basic.Considering that this is part of the Marriott group, we were surprised that there were no cotton pads in the bathroom, and slippers were also not available when we asked. These are very simple and basic amenities that we expected to find.Another issue was that there was no telephone in...

"Hôtel correct mais ne correspond pas aux standards d'un 4\*. Il n'y avait pas de rampe pour les valises. Les personnes à l'accueil étaient très agréables lors de notre arrivée mais plutôt désagréables lors de notre départ. La douche n'est pas pratique, n'ayant pas de pommeau, et il n'y avait qu'un bonnet de bain pour deux. Le chrome cast était défaillant. La vue et la literie étaient agréables."

"Friendly staff, clean hotel, excellent location (walking distance from the train station as well as from the Shambles and the Minster). Our only downfall was the construction work that was a but noisy in the morning, and the fact that the fan in the bathroom was not efficient (it would ger humid after a shower). Would recommend this hotel !"
