Renovated in 2021, each bedroom features a view of the Joe. End your Idaho outdoor adventure gathered around the riverside fire pit. 5 min to St Maries, 15 to Heyburn State Park.
The space
Home is built on top the levee providing wide views of the river, valley and surrounding mountains. Large acre plus lot provides room to stretch out and enjoy. Each room of the home has been freshly painted, with new flooring and trim. Most furnishings are new but some original 70's era fixtures have been kept. Well appointed kitchen will serve all of your cooking needs, including a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking.
Likely the reason you are here is to enjoy the river and outdoors. You can boat from St Maries to 7 different lakes all the way to Coeur d’Alane. Swim, kayak, paddle board, bike, hike, off-road, fish, and hunt all either steps or minutes away.
Guest access
Lots of on-site parking for multiple cars or your boat trailer. The home is two stories. The VRBO is upstairs and is fully contained with everything you could need for your stay. The front door is located on the river side of the home and brings you into the 1400 sq ft main floor. The basement and garage are used by the owners for storage and occasionally when we are there maintaining the yard or working on the exterior of the home. Otherwise, guests are welcome to use and enjoy anywhere on the property. See photos for home layout and property lines.
Other things to note
The St Joe River is easily navigable year round (unless it is froze over), however starting after Labor Day, through the winter, until Memorial Day the level of the river is dropped for flood mitigation. When the water is at its lowest the lagoon is empty but there is still access to the river directly from the river bank.
