Located in St. Louis, The Last Hotel is in the city centre. Gateway Arch and Anheuser-Busch Brewery are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Forest Park and Missouri Botanical Gardens and Arboretum. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Enterprise Center or Dome at America’s Center. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.
The decor and location of this hotel were wonderful. We stayed in a junior king suite and the size of the room was quite the surprise - it was much larger than we had anticipated. The bathroom was huge, it had tall ceilings and tons of big windows that made the space very different than your standard hotel room. The staff we encountered were great. We had gone down to the lobby for coffee on Sunday morning and the guests from the event had emptied them out. One of the staff members got us each coffee from the back, and even got us dairy free creamer and cinnamon. He was very accommodating. We were also able to request a late checkout at noon, despite them being very busy the night prior. The location was great; we could walk to dinner and there's always so much to do on Washington. A few downsides to our stay: (1) There was an event for iHeartRadio the night we stayed and it caused the rooftop bar to be very crowded and the two elevators to run very slow. (2) The noise from the street was terrible, even on the 6th floor. All night we could hear car horns, people yelling outside and sirens. Neither of us slept well because of this and it's the main reason we likely wouldn't stay there again.
