I love that it's quiet and close to everything I need to get to on the west end. I don't like parking garage situation because it's so small, but other than it is great !
Jamal checked us in. Very kind and helpful. Explained all of the details of parking, etc and made us feel welcome. Updated rooms are nice. Decorating kind of fun and funky to match the throwback architecture of the building
Overall, very nice rooms. They were clean and well equipped. Staff was great. But the mattress felt like poured concrete with a pad thrown on top. My shoulder still hurts.
Jordan at the front desk was great! The hotel room was very nice and i loved the shower. My only frustration was that the restaurant/breakfast room is still not remodeled. We stayed here in the summer and it was shut down then. It’s frustrating for people to see pictures online and then find out upon check in that its walled off and breakfast will be snack foods. Granted, the snack foods were good. It’s deceiving online to see pictures that aren’t accurate and also find out that they now charge 15 per day parking. I picked this hotel because I’d stayed there before and knew how to easily get there. There is no pool because it’s geared towards business people. But I liked that it’s very close to Barnes and the rehab facility my mom was moved to after surgery. There is also fast food down the street close by. Close to the freeway, zoo and science center.
Room was attractive and comfortable, and the neighborhood is awesome. My only complaint was that the front desk was unable to print my receipt since the printer was not working. I they asked the email it to me and I still have not received it. The staff were very polite and accommodating, but the computer and printer desperately needs attention.
Staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Everything appeared recently updated. Very convenient for staying and visiting in the Central West End neighborhood. My favorite thing about the hotel was the bathroom and the comfy beds.
When checking in the front desk staff member working didn’t give us information on how to get to our room until we asked. She just gave us our cards and said we were good. Didn’t give guidance on parking until we asked twice. Seemed to be careless and annoyed with us asking questions. I do not remember the staff member’s name, but she definitely was not very helpful.
Parking was very limited.
I’m very impressed with this Holiday Inn Express. Very nice & if I have the opportunity to be in that area again, I will definitely stay there again. I will also recommend others to stay there. Thank you.

Within walking distance of hospital. Dining options within walking distance. Rooms appear to have been remodeled not too long ago. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great location but we didn’t realize parking would be extra, so that was disappointing. The room was super cute, loved the setup, especially the bright bathroom. The walls were very thin and other guests were loud. Not much on healthy breakfast to choose from with “grab and go.”
