It was in a great neighborhood with a great park and some great cafes/restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend going to the pond in Lafayette Square Park and seeing the swans (there were other birds and turtles, too). It’s a cute couple that were nesting while we were there with 3 eggs in their nest. The house was perfect for our family of 4\. The neighborhood was super cute (sister city to New Orleans so it has that vibe). The house is a classic historic home with all the historic charm so make sure you are familiar with that (loud settling noises, odd lighting, a little stuffy ). One key thing to note, one of the beds is too small for a 5,6” or taller person. This ruled out 2 of our 3 person group from sleeping on that bed. That bed in particular was very uncomfortable also.
