The staff was very friendly upon arrival. We stayed in the water front suite and it was very spacious for the 4 of us.overall the food and drinks were good but they offered more American food than anything we were looking for their traditional food.The Italian restaurant was a 3/10 the noodles were very hard.We loved the beach , the bartenders were nice and helpful.I definitely feel like this is more for older people than younger people very relaxing and quiet but it was beautiful and I enjoyed it..The views were amazing

The property was very nice and neat. The food choices were sufficient with buffet breakfast that had lots to pick from, lunch was available at multiple locations, and dinner was mostly with a sit down setting served by a waitress. Three restaurants were by reservation only with one specialty location at a added cost. This one was worth the price.
No daily room cleanup and towel replacement. Was told they do it every other day but sometimes we had to call for this.
The entertainment was spotty and mostly was game oriented and not well attended. Music around the pool was DJ’d and some 2-3 piece bands at a couple locations. The bay beach was nice with soft sand and calm waters but the ocean beach was loaded with seaweed and some odor.
All in all, this place is a nice place to relax to but don’t expect a lively atmosphere.

This is a place which draws more middle aged/retired people. Very chill environment.
Most of the staff was really great, a couple of bar tenders were always rude.
You have to book dinner reservations 48 hours in advance or you will be eating buffet all the time, where the people are great but the food is mediocre. You have to pay extra for The Orchid steak house, but it was worth it. The Italian restaurant was also good, just small portions.
You only get one complimentary bottle of water per person, you can either refill the bottle or buy more water.
The beach is nice, they keep it pretty clear of seaweed where possible. Pools are cleaned daily.

"We were booked at the Royalton Chic. It was supposed to be finished by the time of our trip. It was for adults only. It was not finished, so the moved us to the Royalton Antigua. "All of Antigua is public beaches, so at every resort you have to share the beach with the public and people harassing you to sell you stuff. Hawksbill is down a 20 min dead end road and between the ocean and a mountain. Nobody can get to the beach but guests! Nobody selling stuff, we left our property ..."
