It’s an ideal home base for families, couples, or small groups seeking comfort, convenience, and an authentic island experience. The villa features spacious accommodations with a combination of king- and queen-size beds, a full bathroom, and inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces. Guests will enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and free on-site parking during their stay. Location & Island Terrain The property is situated along a hillside roadway, which is typical for St. John. Due to the location, guests may experience occasional road noise, particularly during daytime hours. The access road is steep and a rental car is strongly recommended to comfortably explore the island, reach beaches, and access town amenities. St. John’s natural landscape is mountainous, and this home may not be ideal for guests with mobility challenges or those uncomfortable driving on steep island roads. Arrival & Guest Verification Before arrival, guests will be asked to complete a guest verification process through our third-party provider, Superhog. After a long day of travel, it was nice to be able to fall into a comfy bed. This is an older property with new furnishings so we appreciated the newer sofa which was also very comfortable. It’s obvious that the hosts want you to be able to enjoy the beach with chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, insect repellant, and even mask defogger in the cupboards. We planned to do some meals “in” so we appreciated a full spice rack to dress up chicken and fish. We did all of our cooking on the stovetop as we didn’t see any oven pans and it appeared the oven had never been used with brackets still zip tied to the oven rack. Also provided were coffee and tea supplies which made us note the attention to detail.The home is located off the main highway on a steep driveway (not uncommon on St. John) which makes access to Cruz Bay easy but also has some traffic noise which we remedied with a sound machine app in the evenings.We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi which only seemed to work sitting at the kitchen counter barstools.On the whole, a good property which would work for 4 people as it is spacious and convenient. ##### Greg B.
