Perfect for a small family or two couples looking for an amazing island experience. This villa is built for your comfort and will leave you with sweet memories for a lifetime. Set among beautiful flowers, palm and bay trees, this roomy 1700 square foot villa includes 10-foot ceilings and large mahogany doors leading out to a covered deck. IMPORTANT: Villa Celeste Paradis has solar batteries and Tesla power walls for electrical back-up! Power to the house is rarely interrupted! Villa Celeste Paradis includes two large bedrooms, each with its own bath. The beds are situated to wake up and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and 9-foot doors leading out to the deck. There is plenty of storage and closet space so unpack those suitcases! You'll find everything you need in two large bathrooms with two vanities and walk-in showers with views. Best of all, both bedrooms include air conditioning units as well as in the main living area. This is very important for those hotter summer months. The living area includes generous seating and a smart television to access Netflix and many more apps. Other amenities include a desk, Bluetooth speaker, several USB chargers and reliable WIFI. You’ll also have your own washer and dryer so don’t bother bringing lots of luggage! Everything you need for your beach days is supplied. You'll find beach towels, beach chairs, backpack and coolers. The kitchen! All the amenities you need for enjoying a meal at home. It includes a generous fridge with AN ICE-MAKER, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. Enjoy your meals inside around a generous hardwood table or dine alfresco as you watch Coral Bay’s reverse sunsets and frequent rainbows. You'll enjoy laid-back Coral Bay where you'll experience island life with quaint gift shops, live music and, incredible restaurants. AND, only 10 minutes away, you'll find the legendary white powder beaches of the North Shore. For the more adventurous, head to the South Shore beaches and hiking trails for a completely different experience. Your view includes Hurricane Hole, a Coral Reef National Monument, the only habitat of its kind in the Northern Hemisphere. IMPORTANT: For some odd reason, Vrbo has listed there is a fenced private pool. There isn't anything online allowing me to delete this so I'm waiting for the "tech team" to fix this error. My apologies if there is any misunderstanding. Please note this villa was originally part of a larger villa that was to have a second floor, giving it a flat roof. Life happens and we've decided not to build because we love the villa as is! Note: there is another 1-bedroom villa on the same property in which you'll share the driveway and parking area but Villa Celeste Paradis is completely private and down the stairs to the left. The other villa, Villa Celeste Vista, is a one-bedroom and is also available to rent. It can be found on VRBO under property #1137923\. Please note that it's possible you will hear guests from the other villas in the neighborhood and throughout the Coral Bay valley, as it acts like an amphitheater. It was so relaxing. We really liked staying on the Coral Bay side of the island and once we got the hang of the roads, we found it quite easy to get around. The villa had everything we needed; beach chairs, towels, bags, coolers, and a very thorough binder provided by the owner with recommendations for beaches, hikes, shopping, etc. It was super clean and most of all had the BEST air conditioning in the rooms. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat! The only item not mentioned in the description that is worth bringing up is that the air conditioners are in the bedrooms - not in the main area. We got enough ventilation in the evening with the fans, but when we were cooking it got a bit warm. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the whole villa was very relaxing and lovely. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The east side of St John is quieter and provides a more natural setting to enjoy the island. From the incredible sunrises, views, sounds of nature; this house is the perfect place to soak in the St John vibe. It was an easy 20-30 minute drive to all the beaches and things to do. We had the grocery store and a few restaurants just a short drive down the mountain where we were created by goats, donkeys and a flock of sheep. We ate at Johnny Lime three times during our stay including Friday’s lobster night. The property was large enough to comfortably house two couples. It was very clean and passed my wife and MIL inspection. All the furniture was in good condition, comfortable and high quality. AC worked well when we used it at night. No need for AC during the day due to the nice breeze even in June. The views of Coral Bay, east side of St John, and Tortola BVI were incredible. We spent hours watching the tide, rain showers, and boats come in and out. The property manager Joy was incredible. There was a small inconvenience during our stay and she immediately took care of the issue. We also spend a day aboard the sailboat and she gave us a nice snorkeling tour of the Blue Hole. She then invited us to open mic night (she and Capt Rob help organize the event) at Ms Lucy’s which was a the taste of the local culture we were looking for. My MIL loved that experience and also Joy! We are already looking forward to coming back!! ##### Humberto H. This is our 2nd stay at this property and I almost don't want to tell people how great it is so I can keep it for myself. We love staying on the quieter side of the island in Coral Bay and this place is perfect. The amazing views of Coral Bay can be enjoyed from every room. You will arrive to a spotless clean place with thoughtful touches. The local house manager Joy is very helpful and responsive for any needs. She is great for advice for snorkeling, food, and more. The bathrooms are large and comfortable to share. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. Each room has an air conditioning unit that will cool the full house. St John is prone to periodic power outages and this place has a backup generator. Please note that it is a solar generator so may have limited capacity. Thankfully the outages are typically short. This property is within a 10-15 minute drive of many great beach locations. If you want to pop over to Cruz Bay, it is a pretty easy 30-35 minute drive. Take a chance and stay on the coral bay side - you won't regret it, especially at this wonderful place :) ##### Ashley J. It has been on my bucket list to visit St. John. Villa Celeste and the amazing view are just as described. The Villa was very clean and had everything one would need. The beds are sooo comfortable and the AC that we only used at night made sleeping a dream. Loved having beach towels, chairs, and a cooler available to use, which we definitely did. The guest guide book in the Villa is really helpful and appreciated. Lois, the property owner, is so personable, helpful and provided a ton of information that we found so useful. We loved Joy, the on island property manager. She is such a great resource and a true treasure. The highlight of the trip for all of us was the snorkeling/sailing adventure we took with Joy and Rob on their beautiful sailboat. Joy's guided snorkeling tour was excellent. She truly is the Mermaid of Coral Bay. Such great memories! Driving on the steep roads of St. John was an adventure in itself. An all-wheel or 4 wheel drive is a must especially if you venture onto the unpaved roads, which we found really fun. Although the driveway is quite steep, you get used to it after driving it a few times. The steep driveway is worth it to stay in such a beautiful villa with an unapparelled view.
