From the sunrise views in the hammock chair with a cup of coffee to the night caps in the hot tub. We were able to make this our home base for everything we wanted to do on the island. We cooked several meals in the cottage and had everything we needed. Simple, clean, minimalist without feeling like you’re missing anything. It was exactly what we needed. It was a little difficult to find for the first time so make sure you get good directions before your day of arrival, especially if you’ll be arriving past dark. The view from the deck was amazing and relaxing. The location was very private and quiet, but close enough to town to be convenient. I would recommend that a ceiling fan be added to the outside deck. This would elevate the deck experience and help to keep the mosquitoes away. Our host was very nice and popped over on our first day to welcome us and provide information about the cottage and the surrounding area. ##### John N. The location was, for us, a great place to explore all of St John during our stay. While just a short drive from Cruz Bay, the location allows access to the East End, Coral Bay, and the north shore as well. A car is a must, but getting around the island is quite easy - just watch those curves!The thoughtful touches in the cottage really stood out. From the beach chairs, cooler, floating lounges and noodles provided, to the quality of the kitchen supplies, dishes and cutlery; everything was above what might be expected. The views are stunning over Fish Bay - a true tropical getaway that rewards you with an outstanding experience.Our hosts were always available, kind and courteous. We could not have felt more comfortable and "at home" anywhere else.We highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on St John to book this cottage. Clearly a 10/10 experience! ##### John H. Perfect for the two of us, had everything we needed. The porch view was just wonderful. One recommend, the hot tub water smelled a bit stale, may have needed some chemicals and it took hours to heat up (which they told us about) so we only used once. Great communication with owners. Enjoyed the little bird that came to visit every morning on the porch and the iguana that climbed up the tree. Shower was lovely, bed was comfy... you need a jeep here. Beautiful view of Fish Bay from the porch area off the bungalow. The sounds of birds, peepers/bugs, ocean, wind, and waves are just what we wanted to hear. It's within a short drive to the market, and not too far from Mongoose Junction, and the beaches. Oleg & Zlata stayed in touch, never intrusive - and answered any questions that came up. Kudos to their friend, Alena for checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable and settled. We didn't want to leave! We definitely want to book here again. 5 stars PLUS!
