"This is one of those rare "pleasant surprise" properties that turned out to be WAY better in person than the pictures looked online (and they looked GOOD online). The building and grounds are absolutely beautifully renovated and maintained. (Love the detailed history of the building) The courtyard out back was stunning and a wonderful place to sit in the evening. Staff was terrific - super helpful!! And the room was pretty much perfect...a small kitchenette-type setup, a sitting area, a desk area, and a big comfy bed, nice sheets, great towels, and all done very elegantly and with great attention to detail. And, yes, the breakfast room is in the basement, but staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and there was plenty of hot (and cold) food to choose from. It was a very pleasant way to start the day! Highly recommend!"
