The bridge is amazing at night. Given the holiday, we were also treated to some fireworks in Mackinaw City. It is a pleasant little cabin and suited our needs nicely. It was very nice not being in the hustle and congestion of Mackinaw City as we did the bridge walk and the access from the St. Ignace was easy to navigate. This property is literal perfection. This was our third consecutive year coming up to the U.P. from Tennessee, and this was the best lodging we've had yet. Admittedly, we're not hikers or boaters or kayakers - we come up to sit and soak. and this was PERFECT for that. Any time of day was wonderful to go out and sit in the swing and just lake watch. Another recliner and full size couch would be great. Was hoping to walk down to water, but the rocks and rock wall kept me from doing so. The steps out front were too steep for me. I have bad knees so it was very difficult for me to walk down them. Lastly, the bushes out back drew lots of bugs at night. The stay itself was very nice and was glad to get away.
