Quality of service, state of hotel, food, staff was outstanding. Hotel is in a excellent location to the beach, local transport (bus terminus is no more than a 10 min walk), easy access to local amenities (Shops, restaurants, etc)
Decor from the early 1980's but in good condition and upkeep, very clean. Lounge comfortable and inviting. Breakfast excellent with very attentive service and the best coffee we had all weekend. Handy base for town, beach and busses. Will stay again.
This is the second time we have stayed at the Ommaroo. Our room overlooked the beach and "infinity pool" in the sea which stays usable when the tide is out. The room itself was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom with a good shower over the good sized bath. The room was well equipped and well presented. The staff were very helpful and looked smart. The breakfasts and evening meals were of a high standard and the chef is to be congratulated.
A nice 3* hotel, better than most 3* I have experienced. A few areas a little dated but maintained well and very clean. A little too far out of town to walk is its only down side. Great to have use of a pool and outside jacuzzi.
