"High standards yet still warm and friendly hotel"
The Grand Jersey is an excellent hotel. From the outset the staff were very welcoming and I sensed each was proud to work there. It's lovely to be remembered by name. The room was very well appointed with extras, like robe, slippers and bottled water in the fridge, to make it feel home from home. The breakfast must be among the best on the island, delicious juice served at the table and a comprehensive choice of good quality fare. The food in the bar was consistently good along with the service and very comfortable surroundings. I'd like to have tried the spa, but, as in many places, the prices looked high, but if the standard of rest of the hotel was anything to go by, I imagine it was all top notch there too. The decor was contemporary, yet comfortable. I particularly like the coloured lights built into the headboard. I also had a balcony with sea front view; would be nice in Spring or Summer. There was a really good choice of DVDs and the TV was of a good size. The free wifi was consistently good too. The location is very central. I have stayed in other Hand-picked hotels; this is among the best.
Lovely large room and bathroom, excellent choice for breakfast but the hotel is now a little tired and needs decorating and some of the furniture changing, I first stayed here in 2007 and over the years have seen the decline which is a shame as the hotel is in a great location and the staff are all helpful.

I was very pleased with my recent two night stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and polite, there if needed. My room was very comfortable and immaculate, clean and with pleasant toiletries provided in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the hot choice cooked to order.
The hotel is not too far to walk into St. Helier or there is a bus stop outside and another just a little way the other side of the road. There was a bit of noise from the road at night but this quietened down fairly early and did not disturb me.
Had a good stay everyone was friendly, the only one thing that let or stay down was cleaning staff knocking so early in the morning to clean, we then felt we had to get up and leave so they could do their job there and then
The capital of Jersey and home to fewer than 30,000 people, St Helier boasts beaches, shopping, and culture. High street shops include department stores, designer shops, and fine quality jewellery boutiques. St. Helier also has the Jersey Opera House, which offers musicals, dance, and comedy.
