We were in an older room which needed upgrading, but the room was clean and comfortable and we were not there much anyway so it suited our needs. Good food and friendly female staff at breakfast. The restaurant and bar lacked ambience so we ate out every evening.
Booked half board through Expedia and so glad we did. Breakfast and the evening meals were fantastic, served by hard-working, friendly and extremely attentive staff. Hotel pool was added bonus as we were lucky with the weather. Hotel around 15 minutes walk from the town. Reception staff helpful with local information. Would definitely return!
Got a room at the front corner above the bar (Langtry) which wasn't a great experience as there was a lot of noise from the busy main A9 road. Adding to that was late music that could be heard from a wedding that was being held in the hotel that we weren't advised of even when we tried to book a table at the restaurant that afternoon we were told it was closed off due to a wedding. We asked for a room move due to the disturbance and Miguel very kindly gave us an upgrade to a quieter room (Victor Hugo). Once we moved it was a much better hotel experience. Great bed, quieter, brilliant room. The breakfasts were great with quick service. Friendly bunch of staff.
"Nightmare to reach and park on the one way system"
The hotel is fine and the one night we eat in the hotel the food was good. Certainly breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Pity the address of the hotel car park wasnt given and advice as to how to reach it round St Heliers very complicated one way system.

The hotels best asset is its staff.
Nothing is too much trouble. Freindly polite chatty.
The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was great, especially if you get a seat by the windows.
Many guests were return visitors so that speaks volumes.
The capital of Jersey and home to fewer than 30,000 people, St Helier boasts beaches, shopping, and culture. High street shops include department stores, designer shops, and fine quality jewellery boutiques. St. Helier also has the Jersey Opera House, which offers musicals, dance, and comedy.
