"Nice hotel in Napa"
We had an overall great stay at the Meadowood. It's a beautiful property with nice rooms. Our first room had a smoke smell to it so we had to mention it to the staff. The overnight manager didn't do much about our issue but the daytime staff was much more attentive and upgraded us to a new room the next day. The hotel is quiet and comfortable and is centrally located to many Napa-area attractions. We will likely stay there again in the future.

"Quaint, old hotel in a great location"
This hotel is like a step back into the past. The decor and facilities are right out of the late 1800s. The shower included. The old clawfooted tub with a shower curtain that is so excited to see you it just wraps right around you. This causes the two parts in the curtain to become wider which allows the quaint shower head to spray water all over the floor. I'd recommend keeping the bathroom door open so you can have a dry spot for when you get out. Hopefully. I also recommend packing a parka. While the decor is late 1800s, the A/C unit is out of the space age. Nearly 24/7 the single vent blows frosty air throughout the room. If a parka isn't in your bag, get a nice snuggle bunny and curl up in the soft springs of the luxury bed.

"Delightful Bed & Breakfast"
Right in the middle of the wine country (Napa), this place is simply exceptional. The staff (we saw 2 ladies) are nice and friendly; the breakfasts ( we stayed 2 night) were out of this world! Beautiful and comfortable (small) rooms. Wine offered the day of arrival.

"Great location but needs an update"
We've stayed at this hotel before and live the location. It needs to be updated. Darker rooms, thin bath towels and sheets. The carpet also needs to be replaced. Ideal St. Helena location so it would be beneficial to upgrade. The price is reasonable.

"Great location and cool retro Napa Valley motel"
My in-laws have stayed here for many years on previous Napa Valley trips and it's a really cool, retro motel. The grounds, buildings and our room were clean, comfortable and inviting for the most part. I only have two small complaints. 1. We did have a small issue with ants in the kitchen after leaving a loaf of bread on the counter. 2. The beds really need to be updated. They were quite soft and the springs were CRAZY loud. Every time I or my husband rolled over we woke the other one up. For such a soft bed (perhaps there was a topper on it?) it was still pretty comfortable but the noise they made just rolling over was insane.
