This Island Home, is located on the western end of SGI features an open living and dining concept with 3 bedrooms, a bunk room and 2 baths all on one level for good ole family gathering! The King master, and two bedrooms with Queen sized bed, the three bedrooms open out on to the back deck. The bunk room has a bunkbed and a single bed, and is located just off the kitchen area. Relaxation is a given with views of the SGI bridge and the Bay beyond from the open decks and a large screen porch just off the living room! Walking to the Bay is just a quick 3 minutes and Beach access is just over 2 blocks to the 11th street beach access. There is even a fish cleaning station and outdoor shower! It rained, monsoon-style for 2 of the days. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. There was plenty of room for 5 adults. The wrap around porch was a wonderful place to enjoy the views. It was located very close to either side of the island waters and not far from the local town. Unfortunately the golf cart electrical got wet in the storm and was not useful. We appreciated saving money on rentals for a Kayak, paddeleboad and golf cart. What we did not appreciate was a screened in porch that was not a deterrent to the palmetto bugs. The porch floor should be screened too and can be easily done. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. The floor was gritty with sand (a new broom is needed) and the doors should have been wiped down. The windows were smudged where someone wiped them down but did not rinse the glass. There were a doz. potholders but only two hand towels. No big bowls for salad or mixing. Some of the bedding had stains on them and most of the picture were hanging crooked. The house is built in a swampy area. When it rained there was no where to walk ones dogs or even get out of the property without getting your feet or shoes wet. ##### Lisa L. A little further from downtown area, but not bad. We enjoyed our week on the island at this property! The house is about 150 yards from the gulf and about 4 blocks from the beach. We had plenty of room for our group of adults and enjoyed the open living room/kitchen/dining area for dinners and board games each evening.
