This inviting, single-story vacation home on stilts boasts your own sparkling pool with a privacy fence and provides easy access to the sandy Gulf beaches. You will find this home in the popular East End neighborhood, close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier, and State Park! Whether spending your days splashing in the surf along our award-winning beaches or exploring the Island on paddleboard or bicycle, you will be glad that you are taking time out at this wonderful beach vacation home. The exterior of this charming vacation home boasts a sparkling private swimming pool that is surrounded by a fence for privacy and security as well as a covered front porch with comfortable chairs and fabulous Gulf views. In addition, under-house concrete parking, a fish cleaning area (with running water), and an enclosed outdoor shower are provided for guest convenience. As you enter Time Out, you are greeted by an open living/dining/kitchen space. This inviting vacation home lets the outside in through its wall of windows and is tastefully decorated in shades of blue and yellow to reflect the sea and sand outdoors. There is ample seating, including a sleeper sofa (queen) and a game/extra-dining table. The comfortable living space also features a large TV (cable/DVD/VHS) and a stereo system. There is a charming dining area and additional seating at the breakfast bar that looks into the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen boasts plenty of counter space, a pantry, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Opposite the kitchen area is the separate laundry area with high-efficiency washers/dryers. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out time: 10:00 AM All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The beach access is not as convenient as I had hoped, but it's a short walk. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed. The bathrooms and decor were dated, but there is plenty of space and seating. Could have used some more shade at the pool. Truthfully, I wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Sep 24, 2024 #### We had a great experience at this beautiful home The home is so spacious and comfortable, and has that Florida charm with a beach house vibe and décor. We enjoyed our stay there so much and the private pool was the source of so much outdoor fun and relaxation for us. When we decided to go to the beach, we drove over to the closest public beach access because we didn't realize there was a community walkway between two nearby houses for us to use to get down to the beach. Once we figured that out, we started going for walks on the beach more frequently, and it just took a few minutes to walk there. The mosquitos were brutal though, so we found out that we'd be a quick target if we didn't take the time to spray ourselves thoroughly before walking down there in the evening or early morning hours. The front porch is great too, and is shaded all day. It is very comfortable, and gives such a nice view of the beach. Although the view is partially obstructed by a row of houses, we didn't mind that much because there is still plenty of ocean view area to the left of the houses and between them. Having the private pool was so nice because spending long hours on the beach and swimming in the ocean is really not that appealing for us, though we did spend a day using a nice beach shade rental. The pool water was never as cool as I'd have liked because the hot summer sun pretty much hits the pool all day and warms the water. It was still fun and refreshing though. For people who prefer a warmer pool to swim in, this one is perfect. I like the pool water to be a little on the cooler side, but that's just the time of year. Florida is hot, so I'm not sure if/how the pool water could be made cooler. We would highly recommend this home to other vacationers looking for that special place. St. George Island is a great vacation spot for relaxing. There weren't many people there during our stay in mid-August and that was fine with us. We didn't have to wait long at restaurants and attractions. But it was hot and I think we'd have enjoyed ourselves less without such a nice pool to lounge in and the house. We are looking forward to returning to this home in the future. ##### April M. Despite having to evacuate for Hurricane Debbie, Vacasa was able to get us back into the house quickly and easily. The house is very close to the beach and we love having a pool. Jun 14, 2025 #### Renewing Our Vows Our family stayed at Time Out with friends and their family. We renewed our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage. It was th red perfect house for 2 families! Jun 29, 2025 #### Great house for a family vacation We booked this house for a week long family vacation. I hadn’t stayed at a pet friendly house so I was unsure with my husband’s allergies. But, it was very clean and we had no issues. Plenty of space and nice open floor plan. The walk to the beach is easy and it was nice to have a pool. The porches were great. Every bedroom has a view of the water. The location, on the east end of the island, was perfect. Quiet, away from the public beaches. Although not RIGHT on the water, you feel like you are because you’re so close and can see it very well. We spent a lot of time on the front porch, enjoying the sound and sights of the waves. The walk to the beach was super easy and short. While it was nice to have a pool, it would have been nice to have a fence that was not privacy. Mainly so airflow could get through. It was quite hot in the pool area. The reason for 4 stars is due to the home needing some upgrades- mainly electrical and atheistic (cabinets, lighting, outdoor seating, etc). Lights flickered when turning on oven, etc. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay as long as you don’t mind the minor things mentioned above. ##### Andrea L.
