In the common area there is a king sized bed, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, and several small appliances including a waffle iron and mix. While this unit does not have a dedicated stove, it does have a large toaster/convection oven for your convenience as well as a BBQ located on the balcony. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and on-suite bathroom. This space is completely isolated from the rest of the main house. Because you will be located above the main portion of our house, we ask that you observe our quiet hours (10pm - 7am). NOTE: Unit is accessed via an outdoor metal circular staircase. While it is safe some people have problems with stairways or carrying oversized luggage upstairs, so please be aware of this. Children are welcome but must not be left unattended in the yard. A creek runs through the back of our property and can be quite dangerous during thunderstorms Guests will have access to the back yard and to all of the amenities listed. You do not need to walk through the house to get to the suite. It is accessed by a private exterior circular staircase. Your host is available by Airbnb chat, live chat text, phone and the caretaker is always close by. La Verkin is a small town located about 20 minutes from the entrance to Zion National Park. We have a grocery store, a couple of gas stations and an excellent coffee shop. We are located next to Hurricane, which has a Walmart, movie theater, restaurants and more. If you need more than that, St. George is about 25 minutes away. You will need a car to get around. We have plenty of parking. Check-in instructions are sent via email and text two weeks before arrival. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 7AM CHECK-IN is AFTER 4 p.m. Mountain Time AND CHECK-OUT is BEFORE 11 a.m. Mountain Time NO early check-in or late check-out. ALL UNITS ARE NON SMOKING. SMOKING IS ALLOWED 25 FT FROM BUILDINGS. SMOKING IN THE UNIT WILL RESULT IN A $200 FINE. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ANY UNIT UNDER ANY CONDITION. BRINGING A PET TO ANY UNIT WILL RESULT IN A $200 FINE. After a long day of hikes at Zion Park, my family and I, (5 of us) were so happy and relieved to be in this home. Better than the pictures or description. It was easy to find the place, directions were very clear. We were greeted by the neighbors two friendly dogs. It was a last minute decision to find a place to stay near Zion Park, and it was luck that this place was available for the night that we had wanted. The place was equipped with everything, cooking oil, butter, ketchup, salt, etc, for making breakfast or a small meal. Beds and pillows were comfortable, the washer dryer was a plus. I was happy to see the disinfectant wipes! The place was very quiet. My husband was reluctant to leave. We met Rich while we were loading our belongings into the car, it was nice of him to come over to greet us. Beds were great, almost no sound coming up from the downstairs. The outside stairs are tricky but well installed. If you have bum knees I don't recommend this unit. My only real disappointment was the lack of a cooktop. Somehow I missed that in the description. A microwave and oven unit was available. ##### Christine C.
