I reserved a double bed room on Expedia for 2 nights and when I got there they only had a single bed room and only for 1 night. It was really bad and I'm not sure what went wrong. When I got into the single bed room there was someone in there already. The lady at the front desk did find me another room but still didn't have anything for the second night. I found something else for that night because I had family in town and later she did end up finding something for the 2nd night but I had already made other arrangements. Not a very good experience.

We wete there for our son's school marching band final competition. It was a nice place to stay though we weren't there too much.

Room was clean and modern. Bathroom was also clean. Hotel facility was nice, a simple breakfast was available each morning. I was looking for an inexpensive, nice, clean place to stay. The Ambassador Inn exceeded my expectations. I would stay there again anytime,

Great location and very pet friendly!
Everyone was very nice. Our only complaint was the hot tub was not very warm but we still had a great time.

Nice place to stay.
The room was a comfort at the end of a long day on the road. Bottom line is it was clean and comfortable and those are the two basics I look for in any hotel I book. It was like so many other 2 queen-bed rooms we'd stayed in over the last 8 or 9 days. Two things detracted from our stay. First, on arriving at the check in the attendant could not find our reservation. This was the second hotel in a row where this happened. Fortunately, I had book this on a computer and had a copy of my confirmed reservation on my I-Phone which helped clear up whether or not I indeed have a reservation. The second problem was a lamp in the corner of the room which I could not get to turn on. I was in the process off searching for yet one more electric outlet to plug my computer in to begin searching for another hotel for the next leg of our trip. So it boils down to the need for more electrical outlets near the desk area and lighting that works.

It's a fairly average hotel, but the bed was comfortable, the room was cold and quiet, and the pool was relaxing. Great place to get a good rest.

Clean, convenient and friendly
We travel this route frequently between CA and CO. This location is about halfway so a good stop for our two day trip by auto. There are many hotels to choose from and this was our first stay here. This hotel was clean and within short walking distance of several fine restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and we will plan on staying here again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was convenient and tasty, plenty of choices to satisfy the family. Easy access off the freeway.

Ok, close to Fwy.
We read lots of reviews before booking our stay on President's weekend. Check-in was quick and the room was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable. But there were some things that were disappointing. It was really noisy. Part of this was because our room was right next to the pool so we not only got to hear all the fun going on in the pool, but we had to keep our curtains closed if we wanted any privacy. In addition to the pool noise, it seemed like there was no insulation in the ceiling. We could hear every footstep of the people in the room above us. The shower was a cheap insert, not unlike the ones found in a camper or RV, just bigger. Lastly there were few available power outlets for charging our phones and computers.

Convenient hotel location for SCCA Match Tour
The hotel itself was OK, nothing fancy.It was clean, quiet, breakfast was OK. Nothing really special. The shower was very tiny and only had a shelf big enough for a bar of soap. The staff was friendly and seemed helpful. I would recommended it for the price.

Everything was good
This hotel doesn't offer anything fancy but it was clean and quiet, everything was in good condition and we were completely satisfied staying there. The breakfast was good, the pool was very clean. We really experienced no negatives. It served our purposes wetland the staff was very friendly.

Worth the few extra bucks.
I chose this hotel based on the good reviews online. It was clean, quiet and quite nice. The extra large jacuzzi tub was wonderful to soak in. We only needed to stay one night and we really enjoyed the room. The staff was attentive and helped us with directions to places in town we needed to go to. They also loaned us a phone charger at no extra charge. The breakfast was nice with many drink options and the eggs were especially good.

Hidden treasure of St George!
We had a great experience, the property is new and beautiful, hot breakfast was just right. Outside, the pool was perfect for a hot day, it was clean, quiet and very pleasant. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Excellent stay!

We were told we would have 2 queen, and when we arrived, it was as it they booked us hoping someone would leave giving us the rooms with 2 queen, because they did not have what we had booked in beds in the room.

Very nice hotel for a family or couple.
We felt like the hotel was very nice. Nicely furnished and decorated. Very clean and well taken care of. The outside of the hotel was very well kept. Beautiful landscaping. We enjoyed our stay but would have enjoyed it more had the weather been nicer so that we could have used the pool.

Excellent, overall.
This was a most pleasant motel, very convenient to the freeway, quiet and nicely appointed. The evening staff person was very pleasant. The morning staff person was less so. My only complaint was the noise level caused by the air conditioner. Otherwise, this motel was beyond first rate!

Clean, reasonably priced, friendly staff, included breakfast. Has a few pet-friendly rooms (might want to call ahead to make sure one is available). The pet area is a fenced area covered with sandstone pebbles, not that appealing but at least it's there. Breakfast was pastries, bagels, scrambled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal. No coffee makers in room or in lobby. Never could get WIFI connection working until we were leaving. Staff was nice enough to try power cycling the router. Perhaps connectivity was bad was because the hotel was full.

Great place for St. George
Checked in late Friday afternoon. Been past this motel at least 100 times never stayed cause the neighborhood puts me ioff a little. Hallway smelled great, Room was exceptionally clean from my past experience with St George hotels/motels. Breakfast was so so but it started our day. Way quieter then I imagined it would be. Slept the whole night

Pleased and will return.
I live in both Colorado and California and often drive, with my dog, from one to the other. St. George is where I stop when traveling west. I first stayed at the Ambassador because they have rooms for guests with pets. I found the room clean, comfortable, not always the case for "pet" rooms and conveniently placed for access to the outdoor dog area. I have also found the staff to always be helpful and professional. I will continue to stay there.

Quiet Hotel with Plumbing Problem!
This hotel located right off hwy 15. When we drove up to the hotel, there was one other car parked there. At first we thought the hotel has closed down. We had to double checked the address! There were hardly anyone there. The room was basic. It is a reasonable price for 1 night stay. The lobby was clean and the breakfast was so-so. Enough to get your day started. Plumbing was not so good. We had a clogged toilet. My husband went to the front desk asking for a plunger and was told another guest has borrowed it. So it sounds like a common problem with this hotel!

St. George Above Average
I had never stayed at an Ambassador Inn before and expected it to be the same as many of the other mid/lower tier lodging chains. I was pleasantly surprised that this was definitely a step above my expectations. They had wonderful products from Bath and Body Works! Their towels were soft and much plusher than many chains use. The bed was comfortable and the room very attractive. While we did not use the free breakfast, it looked much better than most of those I have seen before. Definitely would recommend this particular Ambassador Inn and look to use this chain in the future.

The Ambassador was clean, quiet, had free wifi and cable tv and a hot breakfast with good coffee. I would recommend it to anyone traveling through St George. It was easy to get to from the freeway and is close to food, gas and the outlets. It costs less than comparable hotels in the area yet doesn't stint on anything. The staff is extremely helpful and made me want to return. The "no smoking" rooms did not smell like old converted smoking rooms like in some motels and the air-conditioning worked quickly and well. We were happy to find this little gem.

This is a good place for an overnight stay. Affordable rate, convenient location, clean comfortable room, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. Room layout and counterspace make it less comfortable for longer stays.
