Amazing location overlooking the beach and harbour. Our favourite thing was to take the short walk down to the beach, swim in the sea and then back to the hot tub... magical! Also enjoyed the short stroll into Charlestown to the Pier House and many restaurants around the harbour (Charlestown Fish, Dough Buoys, HBQ are all good). From seeing the sunrise and sunsets over the sea, to stargazing in the hot tub drinking champagne on a cold January evening, watching cormorants and gannets diving for fish and even the odd seal, and the little touches of scones, cakes, jam and clotted cream to welcome us. Charlestown is a lovely place to unwind with a great selection of place to eat out. We chose the Pier House Hotel and The Boat House, lovely food in both. Finally I would like to thank Charlotte for organising the surprise champagne, flowers and chocolates for Julia, they were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The location is stunning with beautiful sea views, you can lay in bed or in the bath and hear the serene sound of waves crashing. The facilities are perfect with a BBQ there for your use, full sky package, and speaker system throughout the whole house, so you can listen to music whilst soaking in the hot tub. Charlestown is a perfect little village to explore, I would recommend Springtide, the new seafood restaurant which has just opened.
